All Stars Season 10 - May 9th

If I was to put money on this I’d go for a Bosco win though, she really does ooze CUNT at every possible moment.
 
I trust they’ll do the usual thing of edging the frontrunner so I too suspect Bosco has it.

Gutted that Nicole Paige Brooks didn’t even get the chance to deliver a quarter-arsed lip sync while wearing something baffling. :(

Surely it'll come down to Ginger vs Jorgeous.

It would be so embarrassing if Ginger still didn't win. But it would also be so embarrassing if she did.
 
I just don’t know Ginger makes it through the lip sync smack down when she has ONE SHTICK she does every lip sync.
 
I'm not a huge Ginger stan at all, but is 'interpreting the song in a humorous way' really a one-trick schtick?

For me, I roll my eyes every time I see someone like Jorgeous do a broken leg back/jump split that has nothing whatsoever to do with the song they're allegedly performing.
 
I'm still recovering from that 'hilarious' drunken sports fan bit he did.

I quite enjoyed him on Chelsea Lately (2007-2014), but on Drag Race and the Drew Barrymorw thing (which is even more stilted) it's hard to watch.
 
It's all getting a bit silly, I'm sure they just add in a RuPaul_cackle.wav file after his inane comments like "you're a bit like a bowl of spaghetti, you don't love the parts that make up the spaghetti by themselves but when they come together..it's just a delicious yummy treat..best make sure I douche for GAY SEX after having the spaghetti haha!".
 
Well… that was as predictable at every turn as you could imagine, from the pairings to the song choices they got to the mimic of a move done badly for comedic effect.

It’s not that I don’t think they deserve a win but it’s more the blatant engineering of it, like just let it be done on merit not meddling
 
Oh I am delighted for her, and how well deserved.

Best finale in ages too. Lip sync tournament endings have flaws, but they are nail biting.

I don't really buy this. They ended with a song that is campy and dancy and which either could have done well at, and the pairings were based on the voting (a part which I thought was a bit silly but I don't think was tampered with). She was the best one.

If they had have closed with a modern dance song it would have favourited Jorgeous and if they had have gone with a slower theatrical song it would have favoured Ginger. This was about as close as they could have gotten to a middle ground.

Every season is weighted in some way and it feels like the Internet decided this was particularly fixed from the offset purely on the basis of them not liking Ginger.

I adore Jinkx and she absolutely should have won, but that lip sync tournament was ineffective in that she clearly didn't win against Monet and they had to alter Ru's speech to make it work. Ginger conversely did well in every lip sync.
 
Ginger is an excellent queen but they could have at least edited it a bit to make it less obvious.

Jorgeous talking about all of Ginger’s lipsyncs are the same when she is the exact same way and I can’t see Jorgeous pulling off a ballad.

That became so predictable by the third lipsync that I skipped most of the episode to get to the obvious result.

The season started to fizzle once the bracket winners were combined. The smackdown was pretty boring. The Jorgeous vs Aja lipsync was the most disappointing. I can't believe we only got ONE good lip sync out of Aja. Even Bosco disappointed. She seemed a little rusty this episode.

Very happy with the winner.
 
Now was that really an all-stars winning lip-sync? Tepid, tired and trite! What a waste of time all those episodes were if Ginger was going to win regardless!
 
She should’ve been sent home after the Kerri Colby lipsync and then at least we would’ve had a vaguely interesting competition!

The fundamental problem with the lip sync smack down format is that they all use their gimmicks and reveals in the first performance so it completely peters out towards the end.

At least live finales they would get changed between performances so could do different reveals
 
The show has the budget to do a grand final live, I don’t think spoilers are the reason they don’t do this, I can only assume it’s LAZINESS from Ru and his production crew.
 
I'm sorry, you can call Ginger a one-trick pony all you want, but if you put those Jorgeous performances on mute and played them out of order you would have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA which one was for which song. It was the exact same shit every single time. Yes she's very flexible, well done.
