They already messed up the press release so they’re not exactly filling me with confidence.

You’ve also called Zarah Sultana Sarah Sultana which, in fairness, does seem quite likely to be on brand for the party.

Fumbling the roll-out so bad they may as well call it 143.

RUSH RELEASING without even a NAME does seem like they’re trying to get in on Zack Polanski’s nachos.

Great, lets split the left even further.

Corbyn is such a sad old cunt. While I'm happy to ride the anti-Israel train, I still recall his complete, and utterly telling, failure to call out antisemitism.

Putting the antisemitism thing to one side, from what I've read about Corbyn's time running the Labour party, one consistent criticism from all sides is that he was a dreadful decision maker who would frequently dither or change his mind, making it virtually impossible to have a clear message or to get anything done.

So the fact that he's launched/not launched a party/not a party/OK yes maybe it is a party but it doesn't have a name yet and there's no policies because they should all be decided by a committee at a later date totally tracks...

Thank god the new leader stands firm in his decisions! :basil:

I'm assuming the thinking is that he's leader for brand recognition and that Sultana is meant to keep the boring functional side of party leadership working.

And what a track record they have so far!

I get they want everything done by COMMITTEE but I don’t see that being PRACTICAL in reality.

When the audience democratically decides they should be named The Palestine Action Party, what then?

Great, lets split the left even further.

This was initially my thinking too. But with Labour lurching ever more to the right, who are the left even flocking to these days?

Much love for the Greens, but I honestly think they're still seen (unfairly) as too one-policy to gather mass support.

The Lib Dems are more centrist.

So maybe just maybe there is a small gap for a new left party to swoop in?

This does seem timed to coincide with Green Zack's uprising.

Much as I love are Jez, I'm sticking with my Green membership (and ongoing involvement with policy making)
