Qu'est-ce que tu fais à la weekend?

I'm going to a big bear weekend thingy in Torremolinos! Not sure if it's a step up or down from Gran Canaria pls advise
 
Tomorrow - Football is back, but will probably head into town early to make a day of it.
Sunday - Nothing :disco:
 
I think we'll probably go to the seaside tomorrow on the train. We went to Weston Super Mare today (unplanned) and I feel the need to see a proper beach and sea now.
 
Going to watch a three hour black and white German film about WICKED CHILDREN who would grow up to be NAZIS.
 
Day 6 of being trapped in house whilst renovations are ongoing. I own my place but a neighbour has already been onto the management company”concerned” about what I’m doing.

Spending the weekend in Berlin with Miss DC. Tonight we had dinner with a colleague of mine who lives here, it was great fun! Drunk on espresso martinis now :eyes:

Off to a friend's BBQ tomorrow. She's house-sitting and I'm told there's a POOL :disco:
 
Saturday: I'm not sure I'll leave the flat as I've only just got home from seeing Nebulossa
Sunday: Mr J's parents are coming down and we're doing a tour of the 'hidden' parts of Charing Cross tube station (the platforms that have been used for filming etc)

Well that changed. Not entirely sure how or why, but we're on the way to Derby instead.
 
Went to Grease Secret Cinema last night (loved it), maybe beach today, but allotment first and some associated cooking after.

Mr Sheena is away til tomorrow night so might indulge my hobbies and get a bag of drugs in and have a wank for the rest of the weekend :disco:

Just fancied somewhere we've never been before we could get to on a direct train.

I've been to Derbyshire a couple of times before as we have friends just over the border in Cheshire. But never Derby itself.
 
I feel like if I was going for a day out up this end I’d probably choose somewhere like Bakewell or Castleton, but the latter would be rammed on a day like today.
 
But getting there from here by public transport would probably involve at least another hour each way, so not really practical for the day.

All I know of Derbyshire is Buxton and some walking in the Peak District. And a cousin who has just moved to some place called Belper with her latest husband.

I've heard Matlock is quite nice, although not been myself.
 
I've loved cable cars ever since many childhood holidays to Butlins Minehead :disco:

Hiking yesterday and today, another one planned tomorrow morning. I think I’ll wind up at 45-50km and 3000m of elevation in total. My legs will be wiped but the weather is just too good. :disco:

And a barbecue tomorrow evening.
