Football 25-26

OMG we're back :disco:

my predictions for this season

01 Arsenal
02 Liverpool
03 Chelsea
04 Man City
05 Newcastle
06 Spurs
07 Aston Villa
08 Bournemouth
09 Crystal Palace
10 Man United
11 Nottingham Forest
12 Brighton
13 Fulham
14 Everton
15 Wolves
16 Leeds
17 Brentford
18 West Ham
19 Burnley
20 Sunderland

- Arsenal to win with 85-90 points
- Liverpool 3-5 points behind
- Newcastle to have a horrible start but recover well after Christmas
- Villa to do great in the Europa League but struggle unless reinforcing in January
- Palace prediction dependent on them keeping Eze
- Graham Potter first manager sacked when West Ham are bottom 3 in October
- Saka top scorer for Arsenal
- Amorim to survive the season at United but he'll be let go at the end of it

fucking hell :D he'll be taking that vow and that hair to the grave

This guy is all over my TikTok. His insistence on continuing to brush his very curly hair when it’s dry rankles me.

This is cool but also highlights the absurdity of the fact that, as far as I know, you can’t watch a single full match from the English or Scottish leagues on free-to-air tv in the UK :D

Sheffield United losing 3 out of 3 games so far. Why they got rid of Chris Wilder I’ll never know.

Arsenal smashing Leeds and going top :disco: and that crucial fifth goal out us ahead of Spurs on goal difference after they beat City. a lovely day.

It does feel like their golden era is over. Watch bloody Liverpool win the next four seasons (although I have an inkling that Chelsea might snatch it this season).

Depends if all this talk of beef between Nuno and the big man is true or just media nonsense.

Ignoring it, quiet confidence. I think we’ll compete well in the Europa, do ourselves proud. A good cup run and be knocking at the door again. Going to be hard to match the genuine joy of last season shithousing our way into the headlines as I think we’ll be playing different football this year, but I don’t think it’ll be boring either.

Genuinely though I love that we are an absolutely unhinged football club. Its never dull.

I recently predicted to a BITTER BLUE taxi driver that Everton would finally break their barren trophy free years with a League Cup win, & I'm now going to expand on that with a prediction that they beat Forest in the final in a 3-2 heart breaker

I’ve got a soft spot for Everton so I hope that isn’t true.

I’m also excited by our new rivalries with Palace (soz Ag) and Tottenham who I’ve never really liked, thanks to our totally normal owner.

On what bloody planet was there 11 minutes of added time for this match :D

I'm convinced refs are doubling the extra time just for the additional content. gutted for Newcastle, they absolutely dominated Liverpool despite ten men. how do these fuckers ALWAYS score a 90+ minute winner!!!

I know there are a lot of stories of dreadful, egomaniacal owners destroying football clubs out there but it can't stop me being a bit obsessed with the world's most successful boss man / wannabe dictator / potential host for the Greek Apprentice Mr Marinakis.

He's clearly a fucking lunatic but I can't help but like him. For all his faults, he's at least an engaged, passionate owner who genuinely wants success. Even if his methods are outlandish.

I'd rather have him storming on the pitch than some soulless American franchise owner who turns up once a season.

I really do think they should just dissolve Manchester United at this point. give the Glazers a final payout for a job well done, let Old Trafford collapse and sell off the land. it's getting sad.

4 games and 4 losses for the Blades. Last in the table. They need to sack Selles and bring Wilder back.

I know it’s early days and it really isn’t worth getting hyped but the difference in Everton as a team from just TWO matches ago against Leeds (literally in terms of players but also the quality on the pitch and the confidence) is crazy. And there’s rumours of a couple more players incoming.
