how many other cases in point can you mention though? Kylie is also widely beloved in the UK across generations, and Madonna is honestly not

When was Madonna ever “widely beloved” in the UK (or anywhere for that matter) as in “national treasure” sort of thing? She’s always been a divisive figure even at the height of her popularity but when she has delivered the goods she’s shut the naysayers up.

Anyway let’s not pit strong independent females against each other etc etc

I think she does look good anyway from the candid shots abounding, but let's be fair about this...the PHOTOS look great. They bear no relation to reality with all the touching up she has done on everything she ever does.

I was front row in celebration tour and she looked great then.
The most recent Met Gala candids also looked fantastic
She’s clearly dissolved a lot of the older fillers

Of course she’s had work done, not saying she hasn’t. I’m just fed up of people picking on her all the time. In fact these Met Gala photos had tonnes of online comments about her looking too old. She simply can’t win.

The handful that are left here like me feel like we’re on some kind of masochistic crusade or we are being gaslit. It’s tiresome and life is too short for this shit! To be fair, that's always annoyed me...

I mean, I get it, sort of. The tables have turned and all that.. back in the Dotmusic days Madonna fans were arguably some of the worst offenders...
And now we're on a forum that is more reflective of the wider online attitude towards her.. and it doesn't help that the Admin hates her. So yeah what goes around comes around and all that. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen etc.
But it does get grating every once in a while.

But her Instagram is a bit of a joke and until she releases new music there’s fuck all else to talk about. We did have some positive and productive chat about Veronica Electronica, so there’s still plenty of room for Madonna chat when she gets cooking again.
