Benson Boone - Mystical Magical + AMERICAN HEART (album)

I find the Freddie cossplay crossed with the quasi-religious boring music and 2012 indie boy voice a bit jarring.

And he looks quite greasy yet also oddly like an AI person.

Mystical has a new peak at #10 on UK Spotify as well, so should be charting nicely next week, though it’s already done pretty well anyway. Sorry is currently getting all the airplay in the US but if he holds ok I imagine both will get nice new peaks this week? Currently #30 and #31 on the Hot 100 so potentially up into the top 20 for each?

Sorry but this album is 8/10 for me

I think he needs to work a little on his writing to flesh out the songs a bit more but overall I don’t dislike any of the songs. His best album thus far.
 
I quite like both Mystical Magical and Mr Electric Blue, but he hasn't got the sort of voice I could imagine listening to for the duration of an album.
 
Yeah I find him quite shrill and unpleasant after a while. A bit of Jess Glynnergy about him.

I think he would be better off getting some vocal lessens to help with control because he’s going to blow his vocal cords before he’s 30 at this rate.
