I wanted to go to the shop, but just as I'm about to leave the flat the distant noise of an orange walk appeared.

So now I'm STARVING waiting for them to fuck off so I can pop to Asda.

I went to see Half Man Half Biscuit last night and they were ace but good grief, standing for 3 hours isn't for me any more.

Fell asleep on the sofa last night due to a business event thursday night getting wild.

Now I have a bad back, old etc

I'm proper jealous right now, maybe not about the 3 hours standing but about HMHB, definitely! Did they sing Time Flies By?

Coming back from hospital the other day and National Shite Day came on the car music shuffle, Mr F has never heard it all the way through before and I made him listen to it all the way through despite him trying to fast-forward to the next song. God bless the radio controls on the steering wheel and the threat of being made to get out and walk home.

No but we got Trumpton Riots, ...Dukla Prague Away Kit and Fuckin' 'Ell It's Fred Titmus so a generous sprinkling of the early stuff. National Shite Day went down an absolute storm; a couple of thousand Glaswegians goings "SHIIIIIITE DAAAAAY" is quite the treat. :D

Oh, and we got Vatican Broadside.

Finally got Simon the roofer round yesterday about the "spectacular water ingression" that happens when it rains. Somebody has nicked the lead flashing where the extension roof joins on to the main house! So when it rains the water is getting under the roof tiles and running down the liner to the lowest point (above my windows and doors), pooling for a while and when it reaches saturation point it starts coming into the kitchen above the window and back door. None of us could understand why anybody would go to the trouble of removing it, it would be worth about £1 when weighed in.

He was impressed with my needle and piece of cotton stuck in the ceiling to collect the main drip and guide it down to a big tupperware though. It's pretty-much a running-tap at the moment because it's been bucketing down all day.

Yet another expense we don't need.

Listening to Mazzy Star, drinking red wine and looking at the rain piss down.

Its times like this I wish I smoked.
