Madonna - Confessions II OUT NOW

IMG_2387.jpeg

Even that interview was so telling, that the 2 actors in her film were sat so far away from her with the most awkward body language.

I think she seems much more relaxed at the moment, which I hope continues with the upcoming promotional promo.

The latest rumour doing the rounds is that she'll unveil the first single at Studio 54 in October.

Also - newsflash in case you were born yesterday: Madonna is apparently not a very nice person!!!1!!!02020!!!

Can we just keep this thread to discuss new music instead of breaking the usual habit of a Moopy lifetime of slagging her off. :DanEyeRoll:

I just... don't see her dropping the lead single in October if the album's not out til (presumably Feb or March of) 2026. what would be the point in such a long gap? it's not 2005 anymore. the hype will be there when she drops the single, so the album should be not far behind that.

I'm not sure what to think anymore but it does seem a bit odd that to do this announcement for the album in 2026 and then not have anything up until then?
I think adopting the more contemporary strategy of two singles then the album (Gaga, Mariah etc.) would work better than what she's usually done.
In which case having a single before Christmas is not entirely out of the question.

Disease
Abra
MAYHEM

Type Dangerous
Sugar Sweet
HERE for it All

On Eagles Wings
Defying Gravity
TikToks From The Bathroom Floor... (MORE Confessions on A Dance Floor)

I think launching fresh in 2026 would create more buzz rather than getting a bit lost crossing over 2025/6. In fact a first quarter campaign might get her more coverage as that’s traditionally a quieter period.

for sure. Disease/Abra is a pertinent reference point actually because Disease totally flopped and the campaign felt dead for months.

More than happy so slag her off thanks!

Would she be doing her FIRST EVER PODCAST now if there wasn't a single dropping soon?!

Honestly
First two minutes she was like "I'm not here to talk about music or movies or tour.... "

Gosh

Madonna
Like A Virgin
True Blue
Like A Prayer
Erotica
Bedtime Stories
Ray Of Light
Music
American Life
Confessions on A Dance Floor
Hard Candy
MDNA
Rebel Heart
Madame X
Madonna's Kabbalah Course (Triple Album Box Set - £90 paperless direct debit monthly)

OK so apparently she's late to her shows because she's PRAYING :D

Oh ESTHER ...

I bet you she'll do a 10-minute junket type thing for the album.
What a waste
Can you imagine if we had two and a half hours of her going through her music..

Some if is actually very insightful though. She opens up about the custody battle for Rocco. That bit is quite emotional.

Potential new album spoilers, but not really.. anyway...

She reveals in the interview some new song titles, including 'Fragile' (about Chris Ciccone) and 'Forgive Yourself'.

Screaming at Madonna, famous for going to the theatre and spending the entire time on her IPAD, saying we're all too dependent on phones and headphones.

I suspect this interview is going to be her at her most INSUFFERABLE.

I truly hope this is something the label encouraged her to do now using this format to get out of her system before album promo kicks in

She looks good in the video clips I've seen of the podcast too; in motion not just the stills :disco:
