Just because it’s a fancy new CD, I was worried it might be like an exclusive or something.

I mean i know everything goes on streaming eventually, I just don’t wanna wait 6 months or something

Looks like they couldn’t come to an agreement so we don’t get all the demos after all like the original tracklist

Yeah it sounds similar to Don’t Stop but wouldn’t have fitted in its place. Also thematically it’s a bit too upbeat for the rest of the album…

It is pretty much done after the second chorus but liking the slight Lucky Star feeling in Right On Time.

What a TREAT

Would have made a fab b-side but yeah I don’t know where it fits on the album. Also I was getting first album vibes from the melody, although that’s hardly surprising as the first album also leans heavily into R&B.
 
That husky lower register is deee-gorgeous!

Rumours are suggesting there is a 2 Pac track his estate wouldn't set free, which caused a delay. @Suedehead can you confirm the truth? And that Stuart Price has tidied up these demos (e.g, RoD was longer before).

There is supposedly a 2Pac featuring version of I’d Rather Be Your Lover.

Shep holding out on his demos is the other rumour.
 
The 2pac version of I’d rather be your lover leaked years and years ago though so I’m not sure if they wanted to include that or a different version on the EP…
I’ve not heard the Shep rumour but I have heard that Pat Leonard is pissed off with her!!

It's just a pretty lacklustre song, isn't it? I don't hate it - It's just there. And yes, that vocal does sound treated.

It’s bland but it still has that old school Madonna charm. Would’ve made a good TB / WTG era B side but that’s about it
