Ian Watkins (not the Steps one) DEAD

:o

Asking for a friend, does this mean it's okay to listen to Lostprophets songs again now there's no way he can profit from it?
Make sure your last.fm isn't scrobbling though.

I was applying for jobs a few years after he went to prison and googled myself out of due diligence, only to discover that one of the last tracks I had scrobbled before giving up on last.fm (this was still the days you needed a seperate app to record your music)was Rooftops.

:hostage:

I swiftly deleted it.

(I don't know if this was the same time or a different due diligence check but I also once found that I had liked "pornhub gay" on that short lived Google facebook competitor.:nononono:

Whoever thought search engines having like buttons was a good idea!?)

Surely they've changed their name though?
Yeah, I didn't realise that until I googled it earlier. Since the Lostprophets stuff is on there I thought they must be still going with a new vocalist because the idea that Experiment IV by Kate Bush isn't on there but the entire discography of a depraved nonce is readily available is a bit fucked up.

My friend is a prison officer in Wakefield and some of the stories he tells me would make even those with the strongest stomachs skin CRAWL.

Hopefully it was slow and painful
I'm afraid not. Slashed jugular, basically the other side of the neck from Charlie Kirk. He'd have lost consciousness in seconds. Still, hopefully he'll enjoy his reincarnation as amoebic dysentery.

There we go - we have the one good thing that came out of Watkins' life - ButterTart now knows that Experiment IV is back on Spotify.

I was under the impression they'd re-recorded them since they were on Spotify and I know the rest of the band are still together, but apparently not - it's still his vocals.

I was never really into them anyway but there is one song I do like. I have occasionally listened to it whilst simultaneously donating to Bernardo's.

Has their been an investigation as to why the police failed so many times times to take his ex seriously? I think I read she came to them with audio recording proof of him joking about raping babies but they made her out to be some stupid bitter ex/stalker 🥴

An investigation? Into the police dismissing a woman's evidence? Good luck!

Well, they were in Wakefield! You don't end up there for stealing a donut.
