I think it’s getting a limited release in select cinemas, but none of the big chains in the UK. May be different in the US.

I looked and it’s playing at all the non chain theaters near me, so I think I’ll go see it soon

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. The cast were fine. I'd bottom for Elordi's monster. It was an hour too long. The visuals all felt quite generic in a mostly pleasing way, albeit at times it did suffer from the CGI sludge.

Basically how I feel about it too. Shelf this under "vaguely decent Hollywood flicks". It's not quite "Great gowns, beautiful gowns", but the CGI is doing some considerable lifting.

I also find Oscar Isaac kinda overrated.

This managed to accomplish the feat of both feeling like a drag, and yet when it ended I thought 'oh, is that it?'

I'm glad Cineworld are doing special screenings of the Best Picture nominees so that people can catch up, because from a visual perspective I feel like this is a movie that deserves to be seen on a massive screen, but if I'd have watched on Netflix it would've been difficult to resist switching it off before the end.
