Ooh so the rumours are true. So she's releasing without any lead single unless one gets pushed out before now and Friday? I'm intrigued and think the titles and concept sound good!
 
I am hoping for a single or a radio play of one of the songs tomorrow! Or is she just dropping it all friday?
 
I think it will be a friday drop with a video for the single out that day too! we'd probably know by now if she was doing a radio premiere midweek

AB: I was wondering, since it’s almost 20 years since Alright, Still, if you’d thought about touring that album? That’s what people seem to do now.

LA: I have thought about it, yes. I don’t really know what’s going to happen. I guess it depends on how this album’s received. If people want to see this album live, then they’ll get this album. If it’s badly received, then they’ll get 20 years of Alright, Still.
 
do both! is Alright, Still actually good though? I don't know if I've ever played it in full. it was it's not me, it's you (which is apparently the final lyric sung on this album - nice touch) that got me into Lily. and Sheezus that got me out of her :disco:
 
two minutes into the first track and I'm feeling IMMERSED by the storytelling. I know this is gonna be good.
 
There has to be a review of this that calls it SEARINGLY HONEST

feels ridiculous to say but Pussy Palace is quite gorgeous :D

no hits or singles here but everything so far works as a piece. love that she's well and truly thrown this guy under the bus :disco:
 
Had a listen in the early hours of this morning and ITS GOOD. I skipped through and felt some of the sounds very samey and electronic, but i was generally liking what I heard. The sounds and story telling felt it could be a musical theatre production! Pussy Palace is 2 on NMF, will have a proper listen through today. Happy new release day Lily's ex husband, you are in for a treat! :o
 
the final suite of songs is so good, the album really ends on a high. it def needs to be listened front to back as a whole no skips for the JOURNEY

'Nonmonogamummy' is quite early Lily with its URBAN beats and instrumental like this one.

Pussy Palace sounds the most commercial and just gorgeous, but the lyrics may prevent that not sure if this can be cleaned up for the radio :D

'Beg for Me' is haunting and catchy.
 
I demand a video, a perf, and a BRIT AWARD NOMINATION soon!
 
She clearly heard Brat and remembered that she did that kind of thing too.

I like it. Good for her.
