Strictly 2025

I've been obsessed with this since Sunday:

(Although didn't love googling the song to find it's mostly Chris Brown :eyes:)

Always thought Tess got herself a dead good gig doing Strictly.

They’ll be presenting some flop ITV Saturday show next year.

The concept of this having a breaking news live page on the BBC News website!

Yes the BBC having it as breaking :D but why wouldn't it as the top entertainment story? Its the biggest show on TV for the last how many years, a bit like when X Factor judges changed.

Nice they are leaving together really! I was thinking Claudia must be rolling rolling in it with this and the Traitors, but maybe she wasn't happy with her existing contract that incorporated both, or just wants to move on :disco: Already bracing at the potential of awful new hosts being announced :D

They already have Janette Manrara & Fleur East on It Takes Two. Claudia made the switch so it wouldn't be unexpected

I want Alan Carr and a female personality artist. AJ Odudu or Alice Levine or Emma Willis pls

Waddingham has too much work in the States to be popping to Elstree every Saturday in the run up to Christmas each year, as GOOD AS SHE'D BE

Waddingham is the only serious choice, paired with a seasoned pro TV host.

Norton is likely too busy. Willis could be an option. Please no to Hammond, Clark or Willoughby. I can imagine Dommett sniffing around.
I’d imagine Waddingham is also too busy. She’s landing Hollywood roles now!

The reason Eurovision worked for her is because it was a one off. I get the impression she is firmly an actress first and everything else second.

I genuinely believe Louise Redknapp has both the dancing experience and charisma to be a worthy replacement for Tess Daly. :disco:

So does the Liz Truss lettuce :disco:

It’s WELL PAST ITS BEST so I am not surprised they have quit. I haven’t watched any of it this year.

As ever I lost interest a few weeks in. There's normally something to bingewatch most weekends.

And Christ they pissed away some of their best line-ups years ago. Amazed it's stayed so on top to be fair. Easy to forget it played second fiddle to the Simon Cowell vehicles for about a decade.

I get the sense that Norton is winding down now and not sure if he's into Strictly. Alan Carr would be fab and clearly deserves a post-Celebrity Traitors bounce, but I think he's more chat show than this format. I worry about Bradley Walsh :( given that Gladiators 2.0 is in decline already

Walsh was my immediate worry.

If Zoe Ball had stuck around on It Takes Two I think she may have been considered having stood in before, but the current incumbents are not suitable.

Quite gutted to be losing Claud. Whoever they get won't be the same.

Zoe Ball is a terrible option for anything. Host, wife, daughter or anything else she may have done in her life of note.
