I love an overnight ragu too. Leftover roast lamb ragu being my absolute favourite. A Christmas Eve ragu is also a wonderful treat.
I did contemplate lamb but I was hungover in Sainsbos and couldn't be arsed rethinking my ingredients.

Your opinion but wife goes every Friday to the big Sainsburys at 6-7pm after work and gets loads. She doesn't buy any old shit as you put it but only shat we like.We hardly spend our lives there but why pay full price for mince or chicken when she can get breasts and thighs for a third of the price and freeze them? Some weeks there's not much but some weeks loads, veg too. The tender-stem broccoli is quite dear and she got loads of that..Her rich employers are very fussy. Throw anything the day BEFORE the use by date...She brings it home with their knowledge as I'll eat anything and hate waste. Their daughter, 20, calls me the dustbin! Cheeky. They often say to her, do the fridge or freezer out and either throw everything or take it home. Food's fine if it's frozen. Smoked salmon last week.Sorry Chris but I really HATE people who spend their lives hanging around REDUCED sections in supermarkets and will buy ANY OLD SHIT as long as it's going cheap
I strongly suspect most of them are VERY NICELY OFF THANK YOU
Are you meaning me or Shirley and her hubby? Wish I'd applied for PIP years ago, may have got it. Don't want to turn this in to a benefits thread though. Why you wouldn't even try applying for benefits you may be entitled to puzzles me. It's your money, you pay/paid tax and national insurance for that very reason.
That sounds reasonable. Any drinks in with that though?Just been out for a Japanese lunch. Hadn't been to that restaurant before, what a 10/10 discovery. £40 for the two of us, glorious.
Wife does that, very thorough, pulls all the furniture out,far better than I do it..Oh God Mr S is droning on about how he used to hoover in the corners of every room again (yes and it used to take about 5 fucking HOURS)
I DON'T CARE
IF YOU WANT THAT DOING YOU FUCKING DO IT![]()

She nearly had a fight over a reduced chicken yesterday but said to her "you can have it, hope it chokes you" LMAO.

Oh we did Abergavenny and Monmouth a while ago, both beautiful but we didn't think the public transport was very good. Seemed to be buses at very random times.I LOVE a proper, slow cooked ragu. Not made one in an age though. We have had an old school style butcher open a little walk away though - perhaps I ought to plan one.
Currently on our way to Hereford for the day. Would you consider somewhere like Abergavenny/Monmouthshire for a potential move, @Rachey? The countryside is lovely in its own right, easy to get to Brecon or Pembrokeshire for a day or weekend, easier in terms of getting back to the island, and also well connected to Cardiff if you want a day of culture/ shopping etc.
An ex friend of mine claims pip. She has fibromyalgia and social anxiety and when she had her pip interview she told them about her worst day, multiplied it by 10 and said that was her every day.I was told to claim PIP as well as my sickness benefit but doubt I'd get it as I can do things like dress myself, cook, clean. Supposed to be hard to get. Does continue indefinitely though, whereas mine ends when I'm 66 and change to the pension.

She now gets £670 ish a month and spends it on holidays because she and her husband earn loads so don't really need the money.
She admitted she lied and doesn't really need the money. And part of the reason she struggles to walk is because she's grossly overweight.
I'm pleased we're no longer friends.
