One of my childhood ESC bangers and a huge summer hit in many other countries that year. Although Frances Ruffelle and Love City Groove at least attempted to bring the contest to the 90s, Gina was the one to really pull it off, considering she made number one on the singles chart and was nominated for a Grammy. I was reading Aftonbladet's archive from 1996 and their music columnist at the time literally made a headline which said "Sorry Sweden, but this time Gina must win", also One More Time had her as their favourite. Too bad she was a bit off vocally, because she had tons of charisma and stage presence. I think the song still holds up, with the 90s/00s nostalgia being so trendy now. Also too bad that apart from the "Fresh" album and the follow up singles, Gina's career never truly took off.
