I enjoyed the lip sync despite being really ready for a Freak Like Me rendition instead. Surprised Clueless dodged bottoming as it just gave room mates doing Halloween.
 
I get that Bonnie's look was dreadful but Tayris has gotten by yet again purely by virtue of being third worst.

Dull dull dull.

I will struggle to care without Bonnie and Sally TM.
 
Agreed. Getting rid of Bonnie before the roast was a choice. Makeover challenge is usually the excuse they use to get rid of who they don’t want around, not the arguable frontrunner. Whut.
 
Gutted about tonight’s result. That’s the second time this series that a queen has departed the week after winning a challenge, but as with Sally, Bonnie’s lip sync wasn’t that great - pretty generic. But she should have made it to the end of the series.

Michelle McManus came across really well, she was lovely.

Bones and Sillexa’s runways were outstanding. And to think, if Charlotte Church had been paired with Catrin, she’d have been dressed as a glittery sheep…
 
One of the best episodes, with a shit outcome. It's one thing going out a week after winning, but another thing when that win was Snatch Game.
 
Definitely one of the better makeover episodes ever, but that result was RIGGA MORRIS.
 
Poor Bonnie really got screwed over by that pairing. At least she went out on a fantastic exit line though. :D

My first thought was that Charlotte Church was far too famous to be reduced to hun status alongside those other D-listers, but she was reliably lovely and it was worth it for that runway look.

The Shobna/Silexa relationship was really sweet, and Silexa evidently did a fantastic job in building up Shobna's confidence.

Agree Tayris has been skating by, but they're just such a lovely, positive person I struggle to begrudge it too much.

Was she really? I don’t know who her ‘celeb’ pairing is but there was definitely some great wasted potential there. It’s typically the kind of personality that RuPaul is ready to EAT UP. Any sort of comedy runway could have done the trick. Instead, Bonnie chose those ill fitting costumes and recycled a trick that was done much better and numerous times before.
 
Not a bad episode overall, but still this series feels like it’s dragging.

Best lip sync of the series so far, though.

I mean I'm sure she could have done better, but - and I don't say this to be body shamey - David Potts is a lot bigger than both Bonnie and the other huns. She definitely had her work cut out with adjusting her outfits in a limited time.

Also, just by the fact that the huns were a bunch of (variably) fabulous middle aged women, Potts felt like a bit of an awkward fit for the challenge. I'm not familiar with their work so I have no preconceived feeling either way about them, but it did feel like Bonnie overall just ended up with a lot less to work with, or at least being expected to meet a different set of criteria to the rest.
 
I think this episode proved beyond doubt whilst they don’t know the identity of their makeover they clearly know their proportions and whilst it wasn’t explicitly stated it was heavily alluded, Bonnie had a real job having to majorly adjust and remake their garment because Potts was bigger than the measurements they were given
 
I’m still surprised that none of the judges commented on the fact that David Potts kept his outfit mostly hidden by holding a swag bag in front of it the entire time he was on the runway!

Because it had to be massively altered to fit and the only place to let it out was in the front and sew another panel of fabric in
 
Well, it was a ghastly ensemble full stop, but I loved them selling it on stage. That element of confidence a huge part of what is emphasised in these makeover challenges, so it's definitely a wee shame for whatever that queen is called. The bank of UK All Stars potentials gets even more full alas.

Oh, I know why they did it but it still made for a very awkward walk down the runway!
 
I didn't recognize the gay or the two actresses, but they were all pretty wonderful I thought.
 
The makeover episode was such a JOY to watch. Great choice of 'huns'.

I had Bonnie Ann Clyde down as a finalist, shocked she went out. I would imagine Tayris will go next week. I think I'm team Elle for the win.
 
What IS Tayris still doing there? Their drag is so basic. It just feels like pity at this point.
 
A good episode but Tayris top 5 over Bonnie, Sally and Nyong is wild.

The makeover look weeks should be constructed like a design challenge. Otherwise it becomes a lottery of whether your outfit fits or not. Anyone who got David was screwed. (Although Bonnie’s concept was lacking) That being said Charlotte’s fit immaculately despite her heaving bosom so not sure what magic Bones did there.

Clueless as a look is so overdone I can’t believe Michelle let that slide, especially with the HIDEOUS MAKE-UP!
 
I’m sure the smarter queens bring looks that can be simply let out or taken in, but I don’t think anyone could’ve come prepared for someone of David’s stature when the rest of the make-overs were women.
 
I do still have a soft spot for Tayris though who has a kind soul despite being a bit basic and who acts like she discovered gay culture 6 months ago.
 
I wasn't caring for Bonnie pre-Snatch Game but this is one of the worst results I can remember seeing. I didn't care for her runway, but Catrin was by far the worst in the challenge and wasn't giving me much in the lip sync either.

And it would've been so easy for this week to be the Catrin vs Tayris lip sync that they're so clearly going to want at some point?

Bones and Sillexa both did a brilliant job, but I'd have given the win to the latter as I think she had the tougher task (and Bones should've been exempt from being able to win this week just on the basis of giving us a Gallagher brother in Snatch Game last week)
 
Bones winning the roast tells you all you need to know about this season. Such a weak top 4 for the final episode.
