It's like someone looked at Rebel Heart, panicked, and quickly wrote a "lead singal" in 10 minutes. There were much braver, better choices there. Devil Pray, Ghosttown, Rebel Heart ITSELF. Admittedly that's probably it. It just felt like the wind was out of the sails before the promo even begun. A shame.

Not a bad song per se. But such a nothing compared past lead singles that felt genuine.

The bloppest blop of them all. The words of sorrow and the mortified horror of experiencing them really give the beats something to chew on, but vocally it's a tough ride even with all the 90s dance fantasia. Having said that, I'm always locked into it when I hear it and the being yanked off her pedestal Brits moment is quite the display of defiance.

True, and if the Brits was going to be the big UK promo point for a single Ghosttown lends itself to a much more dramatic and atmospheric performance.

It was crap but whatever she released would have bombed. She was just very out of fashion at this time. I think reception to her next album will be warmer, just by virtue of the fact that she's not going to be punished for being unapologetic about how she wants to age.

It was her first lead single since Everybody to miss the top ten let alone fail to chart at all on the Hot 100. It bombing wasn’t a surprise but quite shocking it didn’t chart at all but I guess this is the time when streaming was incorporated in the chart and iTunes declined.

Bitch I’m Madonna, despite being worse in quality, fared better. It made the Hot 100 post album release and is by far her most streamed 2010s single.
