Hi Fri-day

Our only other adult in the shop handed her notice in yesterday 😑 she's been with us from day one but has had enough of retail, which we totally understand because we have too.

But she's the one that covers our holidays 😬 and we have a lot!
 
I have foolishly agreed to go out tonight having mistakenly through the 14th was a Thursday a few months ago. #prayforocty

I'm unexplainedly tired. Had a good night's sleep last night, went to the gym this morning, eaten ok, but just literally pulled up a blanket and slept for an hour at my desk. Not ENTIRELY sure what's going on.
 
I bought myself a milk frother. I am very excited by it :disco:

Another parent has sent me a message asking me to 'drop him a line'

What does that even mean? Call him? Surely him messaging me is dropping a line?
 
Had 3 pints at lunch and spent the afternoon doing fuck all. 4 (.5) day weeks are amazing.
 
It’s been raining heavy ALL DAY here and isn’t due to stop until tomorrow afternoon. It’d better not interfere with my planned day drinking session in town :evil:
 
I’m out to dinner tonight with some work colleagues and really not in the mood for it ugh

I just ventured out to the chippy because I AM A HERO and every bar/pub I passed was DEAD. Its fucking wild here.
 
I’m so annoyed- was looking forward to an evening in being LASHED by the rain, but it’s hardly SPAT since this morning. It was SUNNY at one point.
 
Just had to go out in it AGAIN because Ms Ron had a facial earlier (:ken:) and apparently CANT GET HER FACE WET.
 
It's been pissing down all day here until about an hour ago. I'm at the point of cabin fever now so may just go for a walk which feels ridiculous, but at least I can come back with wine and chocolate.

That was my mission. Didnt hate it but then I ate a big piece of weed brownie earlier and the cold was a nice way to rouse me out of the stupor
 
I had to use a LAUNDRETTE for the very first time today because our washing machine stopped working. Engineer booked for Wednesday and I'm already panicking at the thought of not being able to do our laundry whenever I want to and without leaving the house.
