It was interesting as often in the civilian series, don't they say "no words" at that point?

They are usually asked why they chose to continue / stop the game.

From memory they usually play their cards close to their chest with comments like “I think there is still a traitor among us” as indeed the faithful all did last night.

For that reason I actually thought Alan might have fucked it for himself but it actually turned out to be the perfect comment at the perfect time.

There has DEFINITELY been "no more talking" at that point, for sure, and in the BBC one I'm almost certain. I've watched so many I couldn't tell you when :D

There’s no more talking when it comes to doing the banishment votes (which was the case last night). That’s different from explaining why they chose green or red, when they’re always asked to offer a short comment.

I don’t know how it works in the international ones but that’s the case in the BBC iteration at least.

It's pretty much the same everywhere. I don't remember any other time where someone has been so pointed in their brief comment though, which definitely was a good move from Alan (and will probably never work again if people have seen him do it)

That definitely won it for Alan. Especially considering he spoke first, I did wonder why Joe didn’t return fire with a pitch of his own.

He was on his best behaviour and clearly nervous. Alan just went into full TV professional mode.
 
All of this is true, and I’m glad he didn’t say anything because his wounded face when he realised he’d been fucked over was such important television.
 
I think Alan was fully prepared to go after Joe following him voting for Cat, and don't think that Joe was really prepared for him doing it.

Always assuming it wasn't edited to appear that Joe spoke after Alan when perhaps he didnt.

Alan crying really warmed me back to him and almost got me too. From that moment to picking a hair or wotsit or whatever off Claudia's orange face, it was absolute perfection in re-storing any possible damage to people's perception of him. I think he's brilliant.
 
Just caught up with this too. I knew the results after being tagged in this thread :D But I had already had it spoilt by seeing it on the front of one of the tabloids this morning DOWN THE CO-OP.

Loved the ending, I had a tear in my eye when Alan and Claudia were crying at the end, god knows what came over me :D
 
Surely this is some sort of BBC chart record for Alan Carr to feature on nearly every channel in a single evening?
8.30pm BBC3 - his appalling picture game show that he hosts
9pm BBC3 - Drag Race judging
9pm BBC1 - Traitors finale
10.10pm BBC2 - Traitors Uncloaked

All he needed was a BBC Four something something at 11pm.
