This was a lovely Spotify recommendation discovery. Very 2000s neo-soul, stripped back jazzy and funky. Alone and Wicked are my highlights.

 
Very disappointed in this gimmick track. Ari is normally my smooth girl. She's quite eclectic so I'll see what else she comes up with this era. But not feeling this at all.

 
Melanie Fiona has an EP out. It's very much in her style, but feels fresh at the same time

 
This EP is a total vibe. Not a bad track to be found. This is right in my lane.

I love Sabrina Claudia's voice so much - every album throws up two or three really gorgeous songs and this new one is the same



she really just sticks to what she's good at. the title track and Before It's Too Late are excellent

This was thrown my way because of the Anderson Paak track... it's a bop!



Similarly I got this because India Shawn features, don't know who Dana Williams is... a nice smooth duet

 
This has a very obvious sample (did Mariah do it better...?) but I appreciate the hard 90s beats in this

 
Amber Mark has been on a hot run of form and this is delicious. can't wait for the album
 
Can't remember if I posted this elsewhere - I thought it was just OK at first (and I'm a big Lucky Daye fan too) but she's been popping up across socials doing a lot of promo, and it's really grown on me

 
More of a mini album than an EP from Leela James, and it's great. Where U Are and Right On Time celebrating classic 70s soul, Honest & Easy moreso 80s funk bops.

 
Haven't really paid much attention to Ella Ego May before I don't think, but this is so smooth...

 
I think I spotted this on NMF. Never heard of her. Quality neo-soul.

 
Don't know if we're getting a new album (feels a bit soon) or just a random song, but it's great, stands up with the best from her last album

 
I've been loving everything Rochelle does the last few years and she has finally released an album. It's more dance than R&B - soulful house leaning more towards Kaytranada and Black Coffee type sounds. On first listen it does sound a little TOO similar - she could have branched out a bit - but it's very much a vibe and a vibe that I subscribe too.

 
Feels like Tweet has been gone for a minute? This is very much in her lane, but feels a bit... safe? Might grow.

 
there are some fantastic songs on the Rochelle Jordan album and it's such an immaculate vibe throughout (if a little too long and dense). obsessed with Sweet Sensation, The Boy and Close 2 Me.

Her sound has moved on a bit from the pure neo-soul of her early work, more contemporary sounds and some light reggae which does nothing for me, but there's some good stuff on here. I like "Crunch" and "Longest Way Round"
