The first time one of the singles went really wrong for me. It just felt...CHEAP. The production is tinny and hideous, the lyrics trite, she sounds shite, and there wasn't the camp value of Girl Gone Wild to save it. It's relative, of course, it's still a 6/10, but that should not be a Madonna single at that point in her career.

Suffice to say it was obviously a nightmare experience - I mean, Pharrell made her cry... and Timbaland wouldn't let her do any proper producing.. the only 'true ' collaborator for her was (sadly) Kanye because she came back to him for Rebel HA.
