Just bought our first new artificial festive tree in a decade. I'll be putting it up over the non denominational winter festival.

Those huge ones are a fucking nightmare. If you forget to grab garlic when you’re in the bread section it takes 3-5 business days to go back.

Its all bullshit anyway, they dont stock anything more than an average supermarket, its just the illusion of choice.

The only supermarket I actively ENJOY going to is Waitrose, and thankfully that's nearest to us, but it's also not very practical. I will also say an Aldi/ Lidl can be ok at the right time.

I had to go to an ASDA this week. ACTUAL HELL.

I've got a fucking COLD still and I've just about had ENOUGH of it. Together with my TWO WEEK STOMACH PAIN I CAN'T SEEM TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR and I am genuinely falling apart at this point.

I actually SCORED a doctors appointment yesterday on the APP. So I've got a fortnight to think about WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN

I've just been to the travel clinic at my doctor's to see what vaccs I need for my travels. Turns out my mum never gave me the MMR vacc as a child so I've just had it. My god that stings, I feel sorry for babies that have it 😬

BREAKING: Rachey's Mum embroiled in anti-vax SCANDAL
Honestly, shocked. I asked her why I hadn't had it and she said at the time it was linked to autism and she wasn't sure about it. Turns out I then had all the illnesses anyway, but to check I'm immune I need a blood test and I don't have time for that.

I'm about to hit send on a very big tender document and I've got the most overwhelmingly anxious feeling I've forgotten something and I (and ChatGPT) cannot spot what.

BET YOU IT COMES TO ME FIVE MINUTES AFTER I HIT SEND.

In Birmingham. Wondering why it has such an unimpressive cathedral. I always think that, mean to look it up, but never do.

I've just spent an awkward 10 minutes on a call with someone weve engaged, it was arranged by someone else who didn't turn up, so it could always be worse.

We went to Winchester cathedral yesterday, now that's a beauty. Although Wells is still my favourite.

I think Salisbury is my favourite cathedral of those I've visited. Although as it's reasonably local I have been lots and know it quite well. Coventry cathedral is properly amazing as well.

Lincoln and Durham both look stunning, but never visited either.

In the end, I had a glass of wine and decided to stop worrying about it.

I'm actually feeling kinda smug. Said tender is for another VERY BIG CAN'T MENTION IT FOOTBALL ORGANISATION THAT ISN'T QUITE AS BIG AS THE ONE I ALREADY WORK WITH ETC ETC, and loads of suppliers have been in touch to point said tender in my direction and ask if we're going for it, as "we really want a good guy to win!". :)

I used the fuck up to my advantage by acting VERY DISAPOINTED and now they're expiditing something for me.

Whats more, I've just found out I say expediate instead of expidite, and it's not technically wrong, but my version hasn't been used since the 1600s. :ghost:

I'm having an email battle with someone who is determined to have the last word and is making out like I'm being unreasonable. Each time she raises a point against me I reply with my side. My latest was that it took over 21 days to get a reply from her so I went to HQ. Now she's replied back with 'my grandad died'.
Obviously I'm sympathetic to that, but how was I supposed to know that? All I know is that I was given wrong information and I've had to wait weeks to recieve any correspondence.
