Geri does bossa nova... It actually is quite nice! Background music, but doing it well. It goes a little interesting towards the end too.

Crickets Sing For Anamaria eat your heart out!

This and Love Never Loved Me were the only two I liked.

In hindsight I’d of course give the overall experience a big fat 0.

I remember Dan Wootton’s UNHINGED campaign against her. Just daily rants in his Bizarre column about how terrible she was, how awful “Desire” was, and how she was forcing her “splat” of an album on the public.

It was such a sudden 180 because I seem to remember “Ride It” being rather well received?

This podcast sheds a bit more light of what could have become in the end. LNLM made it through a giant chop where she left out the elecro-pop-inspired tracks and went for a more jazzy/big band sound in the end

both this cover & the other cover are just beyond hideous. i’d rather the cover be her wearing the afro from the ‘Ride It’ music video over these!

A tour de force moment for her. Of all her frustrating qualities, this as a single would make it all worth putting up with frankly. And a video that tapped back into her vampy Fellinni flavour of the Look At Me promo.

i loved these little reviews / segment bits she did. what really makes me laugh is that she said the inspiration behind the dance-break in the ‘Desire’ music video was…. Thriller & Sweet Charity? i’m not sure she managed to exactly pull that one off.

i see this as the perfect second or third single to disco sister music… it’d be towards the end of the album and whilst it’s not disco i think it’d fit really well

Ah, the Solo Spice campaigns; basically a collection of “what if” scenarios we used to convince ourselves things might have turned out differently.

At the end of the day, it was five average girls who, together, became an unstoppable force. But once the mix of oversized egos, deep insecurities, and only-decent talent surfaced, they somehow convinced themselves they’d shine brighter on their own.
