Good morning.

Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate.

I was awoken by something being put through my letterbox and was immediately confused, thinking it was Monday. Just a lot of leaflets and tat.
 
I've unwrapped the copy of Sabrina Carpenter's Christmas EP that I got for a fiver in the summer and is now 'reduced' to a tenner everywhere. Buy yr festive guff out of season folks!
 
I love looking at the Sunday Brunch hashtag on Twitter. There are people who sit through the whole three hours, week in week out, and just moan about it.

Like surely if you hate it so much you just wouldn't watch it?! 😂

Our family elf on the shelf arrived this morning and I've already threatened about 3 times that he's going to dissappear again. But then I'm dealing with a 6 year old :o
 
We went to the local pub this morning for breakfast with santa. For some reason a Hare Krishna walks in halfway through asking us if we go to the temple etc. Mr Star says yes while eating his bacon and sausage. The guy obviously had an issue with what he was eating and kept looking and giving us such filthy looks.

I wish I had said something at the time to him to not eyeball our food. He really annoyed me :argh:
 
I've just been for a lovely walk on the beach whilst listening to Roxette and Celine Dion. It was an attempt to forget about work today.

It was all going well until Mandy phoned me about some man complaining he apparently received the wrong flavour of fudge yesterday 🤦🏻‍♀️
 
Button fell off my work pants earlier in the week so I'm just about to sew it back on. Couldn't find a needle-threader and it took me twenty minutes to thread the sodding needle (thirty if you include the ten minute fag break while I calmed down in the middle).

Now, if anyone knows a way of changing the watch strap on my smartwatch that doesn't take about an hour and involve a minor breakdown, I'd be very grateful.

I don't always get it first time quite as easily as that video, but it's still a fraction of time if I was trying to do it like you did.

It’s the same with Lorraine during the week. The same people complain about her show every day and they clearly loathe the woman, so why they put themselves through the ordeal of watching her day after day is beyond me!
 
Just tried to write the tiny number of cards I send these days and got fed up. The lighter the task gets the more annoying it becomes I think.
