This twist is so much better than the sire last season, I hope they don't do that again.
 
That was a phenomenal first ep. Felt fresh as a daisy and I love the cast.

Be nice about the gays. They'll all find Moopy from googling themselves and could be good investments as future posters. COME ON LADS, rank some historic Melodifestivalen entries with us
 
Well that was stunning. I hope sideburns twat goes because he’s giving the office joker from The Fast Show and I’ve no time for such things. I’m expecting endearing cluelessness from Maz so he’d best stay.
 
Annoyed I didn’t realise it wasn’t on at 8, just caught up.

Thought I’d be alone in wanting DADDY HUGO (three years older than me :( ) inside me, but I’d forgotten our HIVE MIND. And of COURSE he’s not a Tory! London gay barrister? NAH…

Couldn’t stand the blonde FAGGY one. That outfit SCREAMED try hard.

Also, that MATT I spotted earlier on on Instagram as about EVERY GAY I KNOW of THAT ILK has suddenly liked everything he’s done on Instagram :rolleyes:. Also my least favourite type of gay- an OUTDOORS HIKING GAY.

Living for rent-a-Claire Balding thinking she’s going to crack the case and Judy has camp value all over her, but the early reveal of her and Roxy suggests they surely ain’t gonna last long.

The twist is marvellous, though. The one thing it means is the whole “they’re a traitor hunter through and through” is gone as EVERYONE is going to be hunting them, with the faithfuls having no idea that traitors actually are. It’s genius. But yes, slightly ruined if they get them in the first couple of rounds of course :D
 
They should murder boring old Maz, bless him. No way he’s anything but cannon fodder and seems obviously a faithful.
 
I've not learned their names yet, but isn't the one on the right (bottom), just the one on the left (top) in disguise?

Why you would want to photograph yourself in such a vulnerable position? The move could be viewed as performative, an act to grow traction online. However, for Hyndman, the reverse is true; with his naked headstands banned from social media platforms, ‘Upended’ is an act of ‘defiance and liberation’.

The Secret Traitor is great but it can't be a series-long thing. Once they've put forward a few groups of three, ruling then out, you start quickly whittling down the numbers on who it could possibly be. I reckon it'll only be a few episodes in where they'll join the Traitors properly, or end up banished. It'll work GREAT for the first two or three murders though.

My money is on the girl with the stammer.

Unless TST is clever enough to keep a bigger group back.

Albeit that I think they’ll be found out quite quickly.

Which I thought about as well, but would be boring for the viewers if they pick the same pool of people every time, so assume production would step in to stop that.
 
But then equally I suppose production wouldn't want this twist exposed too quickly.

I suppose that would be an excellent cliffhanger going into week two, though.
 
I’m happy with a single secret traitor but a whole series of not knowing any would mean being as thick as the contestants and that’s just not fun.

MERLY returns as the secret traitor but forgets she was one and storms to the final again.

Just realised Harriet is Harriet Tyce, I've read a couple of her books including Blood Orange. They're by the numbers mysteries/thrillers but might be familiar to anybody who's PERUSED the supermarket book selection or an airport WHSmith.
 
The BBC kicked off New Year’s Day with a bang last night with The Traitors Season 4 opener.

It drew an average 6.4 million overnight viewers, rising to a peak of nearly 7 million, which was roughly level with the recent Celebrity Traitors season and way ahead of the third season opener.
 
Im not overly sold on the secret traitor idea initially but I’m prepared to let it pan out and be wrong. It makes the three known ones pretty redundant in the early stages.

I wonder if the time slot change to 8pm meant that some people didn't realise it was on, and would have ended up watching it on iPlayer. I can imagine this figure will rise massively once 7 day consolidation is included.
 
NO WAY THIS STARTED YESTERDAY!!!! I had no clue. Did the Celeb version not just finish? I am not complaining though and am off to catch up.

Didn't clock this last night but the ST writes those fancy Z's that have tails. Same as the trap Linda fell into writing Fozia's name last year.

Means nothing of course, but that says OLDER FEMALE to me.

Nice twist, but I’m a bit confused. Was it explained if the traitors and the secret traitor are on the same team? Do they win together or against each other?
