I need some new knitwear but I’m trying to only buy second hand and the charity shops are fucking APPALLING at the moment. Have Vinted/ the resellers finally ruined everything? It’s all literally just Primark and H&M shite.

I did buy a lovely new black suit and long black coat yesterday in Boss, though, but I justified it as I just can’t find those in the right size second hand and they were in the sale, meaning a total of £360 for the whole lot was an actual bargain.

I'm not. I'm justifying possibly spending about twice as much on a jumper as I normally would by thinking I'd 'only' be spending the same as a smoker would spend on cigarettes in less than a week.

Just tried to get my daily walk in but the footpaths around here are lethal, so I gave up after 5 minutes.

Ordered two jumpers in the Hilfiger sale because everywhere else was just black, grey, beige, white or navy. And a pair of boots from Timberland.
I haven't bought anything new in ages, I used to get a lot of second-hand Ted Baker stuff, but it’s hard to come by in my size these days.

£360 in for a suit and coat in Boss was a bargain! I paid £380* for a Boss overcoat for Mr F years ago. He's worn it twice.

I KNOW! The suit was £200 reduced from £450, the overcoat from £550 to £200, then 10% extra off if you bought two in the sale items.

Considering the suit I bought last year was £440 by itself, I was RATHER pleased.

I’ve got a funeral tomorrow and needed the suit and I’ve been after a coat for ages. I’ve had to go black after turning up to a catholic funeral in a blue suit and black tie in December, as I had nothing else that fit me now I’m thinner and it wasn’t someone I was close to so I didn’t think it would be a problem. 200+ mourners and not a SINGLE one not in all black. WHOOPS!

Me too. I've fallen into an awful sleeping pattern as well. If I don't have a decent night of sleep tomorrow won't be pretty.

The days are getting longer, I'm holding on to that. By next Sunday, sunset will be 9 minutes later. By the week after, 21 minutes later.

And then I've got one trip to the theatre and three comedy nights arranged before the end the month is out. Gives me something to focus on.

It’s too difficult to say as it totally depends where you go.

This was to Limewood, with a food and treatment package as well, which was probably insanely expensive.

You can get Champneys for £200/ night and there are cheaper, more lower rent options near me. No idea about London though…
