HITS hears that a new Bruno single will be dropping on Friday, the first release from an upcoming LP that the multi-talented artist teased earlier today on X when he wrote that "my album is done." Whenever that comes, it will be the long-awaited follow-up to 2016's triple-platinum 24K Magic (Atlantic), which took home a seven-Grammy haul.

Crazy though that he’s only had 3 solo albums. I know there’s been other things, but he seemed more prolific than 3 albums over more than 15 years.
 
The Silk Sonic album was amazing though, and probably part of the reason he doesn’t feel like he’s been away too long. It was also massive. The lead single being one of the biggest songs of the decade, of course.

I had to double check the Silk Sonic wiki because I didn’t remember it being that massive at all. #1 in the States and top ten on year end. Had no recollection of that, nor could I hum it!

He’s a massive streaming force despite him not releasing anything solo in nearly 10 years. Unlike Rihanna, though, he’s remained prolific with the collaborations.

Where did that 10 years go? I know he's had a few issues privately but it doesn't feel that long. The Silk Sonic album was class, too.

there are rumours he owes/owed like 50 million to MGM in Vegas and that's why his residency at Park MGM has so far lasted 10 years (!). he's laughed it off, but...

Oh, dreadful.

It’s a shame cause he is obviously a generational vocalist and musician but so many utter stinkers in the catalogue.

It's decent. Not exactly a standout though. Just a well oiled jam that will soundtrack a lot of very ordinary people's 2026.
