I've only worked a bit this week, but it's like a truck. Unreasonably achey!
 
The whole of victoria appears to be catching on fire. Every park/car park we tried to go to today was closed because of fire/potential fire.

I don't think I could cope living here with the constant threat of my home burning down :(

I quite like living where I do with no threats of fire or flooding. I might never move.

We now have no electricity in the town because of bush fires around us. I'm wondering if I should start worrying a bit.
 
Yeah I've thrown myself fully into work and gym this week, I'm fucking BROKEN. Envoking the 4 day week vibe today, I've only got a couple of bits to do and I'm still in my PJs
 
This BRICK thing I bought that blocks all the apps on your phone unless you physically stand up and go and tap it is very good...I've not looked at my phone for three hours now, and three or four times have picked it up absentmindedly before I remembered.

(JUST YOU WATCH, someone will have DIED by lunchtime after reaching out to me for urgent help :disco: :D )

An Australian musician I follow on Instagram is in Victoria - she says it's 42 degrees and she filmed the smoke clouds. She had to go back inside quickly because she's asthmatic. It's horrible.
 
I have a random eyeball question for Mrs @Star ... can one eyeball be consistently warmer than the other? Every day this week when I've been out for a fag at work I've come back in to the warm office and only the right lens of my glasses steams up. Just now I took them off until it had unsteamed, put them back on and the right side steamed up again. Never the left side.

Oh how strange! Not that I know, but everyday is a schoolday :o

Yeah it's really frightening. Our local beach has been closed off as it's now being used as a place of last resort.

We're hopefully leaving today to go to Tasmania, assuming flights are ok.
 
Little Kylie has a task of using an online platform to learn a new skill. Any ideas?
