Reasons for:

1. There is already a feral fandom online and in Mopsy and we can tap into that to get new blood (particularly women which the series is very popular with)
2. There will be a season 2 and season 3 so we are guaranteed discussion for the next two years
3. There are seven books in the series to discuss as well
4. There is a lot of online content to discuss too
5(a). Mopsy has forums dedicated to artists who are no longer active (e.g. Girls Aloud) so it would make sense to have a dynamic forum attitude where new forums can open, old ones close, and some forums aren't garnering activity then can close down.
5(b). Enya forum was an experimental decision. Perhaps we can review that as well if we are saying No to Heated Rivalry.

Just start all the Heated Rivalry threads to see if the demand and posts are there.

I mean I know it's going to be a NO but I'd like to look back in three years to say TOLD YOU SO while Moopy is still posting one thread every six months in the Girls Aloud forum...
But then maybe Moopy doesn't want new posters and more posting, which is FAIR ENOUGH I guess.

Also.. is the Enya forum really necessary at this point?
It was fun for a while but c'mon (yeah c'mon) it can all be condensed into a NAR: What's in Enya's handbag single thread and chucked into the Celedeq (!!)) forum..
 
I can imagine that Heated Rivalry fans are types I don't wish to have on our Moopy. I'm quite content with us all growing old together, with the occasional new poster.

And I think that's fair enough
Many of the HR fans give me Nike vibes (and I quite liked her, but I accept she was Marmite on Dotmusic.)
 
For the record, I've not seen Heated Rivalry yet, but I absolutely intend to. This isn't a protest against something I dislike, I just don't see the benefit.
 
I just need the names of the actors I'll see eating arse other than the main two before I commit

There is a rabid fandom online that has properly exploded and I have to say it includes me. I can't explain it. There will be two more seasons and more books in the series so more content. But of course it depends on whether people here are interested. And thus far it's about 5-6 of us in the HR thread. I got too excited and now I'm on my second vodka gimlet.
