I am currently dog sitting for my folks which means an early walk, which I have to admit I'm really enjoying. It gets me in the MOOD.

Oh Yoshimi (BA-BA-BAAWOW), they don't believe me (BA-BA-BAAWOW)...

Loved that album, must dig it out, give it a spin and remind myself of the days when The Flaming Lips were a truly great band rather than a vehicle for Wayne Coyne's midlife crisis.

Morning.

I was writing a claude prompt to detect and remove ai sounding copy from copy I had written because another ai tool told me my own copy sounded to ai.

Its Yoshimi’s time

Wish i dawg bow wow sitting hope big one newfoundland one dont fell like wesday

My old boss had an Alaskan Malamute. Hulking great BEAST of a thing she often brought to work. Lovely dog. I don't miss shovelling (and I mean shovelling, not scooping) his shit up in the yard, though.

I listened to Who Can I Turn To Stereo by Nurse With Wound late last night. I felt midway between soothed & disturbed.

I went to PUPPY YOGA last week and there were baby huskies (very cute but not interested in us)

OT: Anyone use melatonin gummies here? My supplier has stopped shipping to the UK (apparently real melatonin supplements are illegal and should be prescription only here) and I am struggling to find a replacement.

Here girlies guess who has Covid AGAIN :goodgrief:

I do know & like NWW, although I have to be in a very SPECIFIC mood for them. Amy recommendations from their huge & confusing discography?
Well..."WCITTS" was hatched from the same sessions as "Rock 'N' Roll Station" and "Second Pirate Session" so they're worth a dip. RNRS is quite cold and stark but in a good way, of course.
"Soliloquy For Lilith" will convince you that your room is being breathed in and out by the universe and is one of the spookiest 'ambient' albums ever.
"Merzbild Schwet" and "Homotopy To Marie" are the best of the early crop, "Dark Fat" is great fun, a memento of Nurse With Wound's phase as a live 4-piece and last year's "Lung Oysters" is album NWW go Prog Rock.

That'll keep you going. :D
