Wednesday thinks its Saturday thanks to certain posters

Decided to follow my own advice about how much I hate January and not stressing too much about work being quiet and am bunking off for two days. A trip to London to see Agnes tonight has extended to cheap tickets to The Lion King (bought back row on Todaytix for ยฃ40 and got instantly upgraded to fourth row in the stalls! :D ) and Into The Woods, am going to catch the Gianni Versace retrospective and catch up with a friend and hopefully throw in a bit of shopping along the way. Love a little surprise solo jaunt!

I'm quite excited! :)

How cool are pelicans. And huge. We went to an island today and they were everywhere.

Hi girls, feeling like death at the Eurostar after a night at the SHOWER BAR.

Also, brought Weetabix to work for breakfast. No milk in the staff room fridge :square:

Well, I tried to get an oat milk latte on the way to the train and my normal local was closed, Greggs (!) donโ€™t do oat milk and Starbucks had โ€œrun outโ€. YOUโ€™RE NEXT DOOR TO A FUCKING SAINSBURYS.

God I LOVE a solo London trip. Just being able to do exactly what YOU want to do when there are so many possibilities feels like such a luxury.

Although my next planned trip is likely to be either next week or the week after with my teenage nieces, who would like to see some good street art. London people, where are the best areas for that now? I'd like it to be in an area where there are interesting shops and places to eat as well. I was thinking probably Camden and Spitalfields/Shoreditch.

I've done a little research and apparently PENGE is a hotbed of street art now? Who knew? I was only ever aware of Penge previously as a punchline of jokes.

Hi, deffos wednesday

Starting to get really pissed off with grown adults just not replying to emails and calls. I'm taking it personallu.

One of the clinical leads wonโ€™t respond to my emails/action anything unless I CC senior management in :D

Definitely Spitalfields/Brick Lane/Shoreditch area and yeah Camden as well. I have never been to PENGE! But it always makes me smile on the front of a bus.

Though I am already thinking I should have stayed another night so I have more wandering time as right now itโ€™s quite well planned!

I have ended up in Franco Manca for lunch, thoughโ€ฆ :disco:

My vegan pizza restaurant is in Camden!

I made the mistake of going to Camden on the first sunny Saturday of the year last year. Would not recommend.

I've been several times before. What was the issue, just how busy it was? It's likely to be midweek in February for me, so I doubt that would be an issue.
