I mean just create the fucking subforum already and let us simp over our babygirls in peace.

If it fails after a trial run close it down.

Are you going to back me up here @Joseph @Sardonicus @Debbie Jellinsky + many other silent posters or will I die on my sword (i.e. leave Moopy*) here?

* may or may not contain traces of nuts.
I'm ALL FOR a new forum of course & here's a bunch of suggestions for potential topics to keep it busier than the Mylene Farmer forum at the very least :disco:

Individual episode discussion threads
Individual book discussion threads
Season 2 & Season 3 threads
A fashion thread
Music thread discussing t.A.T.u. & the rest
Speculate wildly about the cast of Heated Rivalry
Heated Rivalry General Updates
What would Princess Diana have thought about Heated Rivalry (poll/discussion)
Post an AI picture of someone from Heated Rivalry
Who are your favourite Heated Rivalry wannabes
Heated Rivalry predecessors
Heated Rivalry quotes & quips
Heated Rivalry fan creations preferably your own
Will anyone from Heated Rivalry ever have a UK number 1 single
What's in Ilya Rozanov's kitbag
Shane Hollander slaughters a Womble

Should be enough to be going on with?

Thank you.
It's just been mostly radio silence since I made the request last week, and it's actually quite disrespectful.
Most of us have been members for a very, very long time and we're not being unreasonable.
If it's too much bandwidth then surely there are inactive forums that can be removed?
That is the nature of online forums - they should be interactive and responsive to current popular culture and not just what 2-3 'high clout' people in a community like to discuss every six months.

Yeah get rid of Mylene Farmer
I know it was my suggestion but it didn't really go anywhere did it?
Fair play.

I mean that DARK MOOPY shit is still there and it’s as dry as my dead grandmother.

Thank you.

To be honest, I just thought it was a bit!

If they did all go would that change your stance on a Heated Rivalry forum?
You know what? No.
And what is your problem with me by the way? You rarely ever interact with me except to slag me off or try to undermine a point I'm making.

A comedy bit!
Not at all, actually. There is a significant minority of posters who nevertheless make a sizeable contribution in terms of post count to Moopy that want a Heated Rivalry forum and we are being ignored and disrespected.

@Pingu what is your problem with me? If I ever offended you I'm sorry but I don't get why you have such an issue with me?

There doesn't need to be any trade off. Let's have the forum and then where we go with any other forum should be a separate discussion.

Posting a soon to be dead topic about ice hockey, does not mean there's a need for a forum.

I mean let’s be honest, why does there have to be a “need”.

It’s not going to set MOOPY ablaze with new members and if it’s just 4 people using it does it really matter. If it flops it’s not going to end this community.

I love my Lolls. My compatriot. My friend. The person who really gets me. We'll never be in an Et Tu Brute situation (unlike @Agneeta)

I maintain that a book and a TV series, is worth about two topics at most, certainly not a forum.

Is it not all a bit basic?

Yes king!
I brought in the cavalry as you can see.

It's changing pop culture darling. There are discussions about toxic masculinity. Straight women love to watch us have sex! There are sold out Heated Rivalry shows in London as we speak. The actors are getting major fashion ambassadorships. You might not like it, and I accept that - but let's try and be in 2026.

You are welcome to tell us how basic it is (in your opinion of course) in a new forum

The Enya forum is kept going because of one dedicated superfan & a bunch of other people (myself included at times) making comments about how Enya likes to shit in a bucket & throw it at people etc.

So 3 or 4 people using a HR forum for genuine updates etc, why not?

Thank you.

It just comes across as either hypocrisy or (maybe I'm being paranoid) double standards because the request is coming from me. I know I'm not popular with the Admin team.

And it is not because I've ever been banned or warned about anything, may I add. It's just a feeling I've had for years. Like for some reason, even though I've been around for a long time, I'm not liked by the powers that be or the influential posters here.

It's not personal. I just think the hysteria will calm down just as quickly as it arrives. There is no similar forum.

Ok

But again, does it really matter at the end of the day? It’s not going to hurt anything and it’s certainly not going to take up space.

It’s not like MOOPY is ABLAZE with posts on the daily and we have plenty of barely used sub forums already. I’m just not understanding the hard stop when it’s not like a new forum is requested all the time.

Yes it’s a trendy show about 2 faggots falling in love BUT it’s one of the most talked about topics online. Adding a subforum to be used for the purpose of discussing the show and actors shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Not true, sorry.

We already have at least five topics related to Heated Rivalry across Moopy.

I'd happily scrap quite a few of the dead forums and not add any deadweight forums.

But why not have a dynamic approach to forums?
i.e. 'new forum - trial for 6 months, if it doesn't hit X number of posts in X months then it will be scrapped'

So we can still have a Heated Rivalry forum and if we don't have enough posts/membership engagement in a certain period of time then it can be scrapped

We have dozens of Sugababes topics, but no forum. Is it not great to have a few hot topics doing great business, rather than a forum that will die off.

Yeah but it's current - it might die off in 2-3 years but then we can get rid of it!
Sugababes are hasbeens sorry. No need for a forum now.
Does Moopy really want to be stuck in 2001?

I don't see why just because we don't have forums for any other similar programmes that we shouldn't try one for this. In fact it's arguably a reason to try it.

Even if it crashes and burns after a few months, so what?

Discussions like this are pretty moot when we created and maintain an Enya forum anyway.
