How do we feel about this shower? I'm three eps in and am a fan. And I'm enjoying the novelty of watching a SPORTS PODCAST on my commute. Fellow passengers can't tell it's about bumming

Obvs we don't need the endorsement of straight men, but I echo the youtube comments about how it feels quite healing to see hetero sports fans being fully on board with the gays in (what feels like) a sincere, open way. It's sweet that they stan for both the romance and the smut. "He's DRAGGIN' A WAGON" was an iconic phrase re: Ilya's arse.

But on the flip side, I can't fully shake the whatsapps that saw them get milkshake duck'd so soon after becoming popular. I mostly bought the apology video and believe they're into the show genuinely, but the one of them being annoyed about inclusivity and blue haired twitter IS a bit manosphere. Though also: there's similar that could get me cancelled in my whatsapps.

I also like how their review episodes are literally now longer than the ACTUAL SERIES ITSELF

They were gushing over the show on their pod but had badmouthed it over WhatsApp, right? I saw some videos from dude bros popping up on Instagram, but I can't stand them in general, so I haven't watched any. And seeing this thumbnail with their faces is off-putting enough already.

I think they were like a lot of people in that they didn’t think it was going to be any good and they turned out to love it.

I could get mad about what he said off camera but I’ve said much worse to be honest.

I think being diligent with holding people accountable is a good thing but I also think that (in cases like this) we have to allow some grace and hope that people learn and will do better.

Yep - well, one of them slagged off the idea of it before they'd watched it. And the whatsapps he did this in promptly got leaked, apparently by a RIVAL HOCKEY PODCAST
