What a delightfully chaotic episode five! :disco:

Eamon really got far too cocky. Loving the sheer unlikeliness of hapless old Paudie successfully taking him out.

HA at Nick rejecting the recruitment and leaving Kaitlin stranded with Paudie! :D

OMG Kaitlin’s barely suppressed fury when she realises Paudie’s possibly going to be the last one standing. :D

Siobhan has settled into a sub-Alan level as host for me. She's fine, but little more.

The main issue though is the budget - the task this episode was appalling! Did they have something else planned that fell through and that was all they could resort to? It really was like a team building day for a charity.

That said, I am massively enjoying the dynamics and the game play, and how it's throwing up behaviour amongst both traitors and faithful that I've not seen before.

Did it drop two episodes weekly in Ireland? Just wondering why the BBC are choosing to release it that way here now.

No, RTE showed followed the BBC model of three episodes a week, although shown on Sun, Mon & Tue.

So pleased these threads are finally coming to life :disco:

Paudie is an absolute icon so far. Hope he wins!

Particularly after the guys went after the girls for voting for an 'obvious' traitor in Katelyn, I do wonder if they are purposely playing with Paudie now and seeing if he'll give the new recruit away. And I doubt he'll wreak havoc with Andrew in the same way he did the others, although how much of it was ever intentional I wouldn't care to say. Considering they have both had heat on them already though, I doubt they will make it to the end together somehow with 6 episodes left.

Also - is it just me who can't look at Joanna without thinking of Reece Shearsmith?

Just realised 7 & 8 have landed tonight - I thought it was tomorrow

Damn. Just read a mild spoiler (forgot this thread is both episodes - doh!)

I wonder whether if Paudie is a sole traitor that he would try to recruit his son.

The post-Katelyn squabble. They're an inadvertently effective bunch getting out 2 traitors and completely incapable of working well together. Too bad Oyin hasn't sniffed out the father son dynamic.

A tad predictable choosing Andrew. I think he did the right thing though as he didn't work well with the other 2 and wasn't able to stick to a plan or listen to other ideas.
