Sultrily GRAZING AWAY on a bag of Mini Eggs and it occurred to me - the QUESTION MUST BE ASKED!

Honestly the entire line has gone to shit and anyone who doesn't accept this is frankly IN DENIAL.

Sapped all the joy from them. YANKS OUT

Mini Eggs in general are losing their LUSTRE anyway- the small bags aren't worth your time and the price of anything higher than that is gradually getting INSANE.

Although I will say I'm a fan of the new "Easter mix" bags you can get with mini Mini Egg bags, Creme Eggs and Dairy Milk eggs in them...

I haven't had Dairy Milk in a while but both Galaxy and Milka are much more flavourful. god I love Milka.

Ms Ron bought me a bar of Black Forest Dairy Milk the other day, I was so excited.

It had synthetic jelly cherry lumps in. Gross.

God, I was talking about those just the other day. They were fucking magnificent.

Even the best things in the Celebrations box. I can't believe they were unpopular enough to get rid of- anyone I have ever spoken to loved them.

I was TRICKED back to Daily Milk a few days ago with the promise of Biscoff in their bars.

And it tasted of NOTHING.

I've heard a lot of complaints about the new Cadbury recipe being terrible. But it wasn't terrible. Terrible implies some kind of flavour. This had none.

Biscoff and chocolate should NOT GO TOGETHER - they are two satisfying flavours ON THEIR OWN

There's a REASON cinnamon chocolate ISN'T A POPULAR VARIANT!

Also I know THEORETICALLY the Dairy Milk recipe has changed (basically every mass market chocolate company has started using less cocoa solids because of the cocoa supply crunch the last few years), but thankfully I haven't noticed the difference taste-wise. And LONG MAY THAT CONTINUE!

Oh I couldn't DISAGREE more (on Biscoff)

Fuck Cadburys

THIS however has changed my life

shopping.webp

It changed WELL BEFORE the cocoa supply crunch.

It's been bastardised by an American conglomerate. Dairy Milk Oreo. Urgh.

Yeah they ruined it years ago, it was already bad but now with the COCOACRUNCH it's even more WANK.

I still miss the ones that were about the size of a Creme Egg (but infinitely nicer), they were on sale in the early 90s and came in two halves with a truffly centre. They were amazing. None of the many filled eggs you can get these days come close.

I do believe Mondelez are evil but Dairy Milk Oreo is great! The bars with the little whole Oreos in the middle of each chunk :disco:

Mondelez's greatest evil was in 2015 when they tried to make the bigger Dairy Milk bars SHALLOWER to save costs, making for one of the most profoundly unsatisfying and unsultry chocolate experiences this side of that 37p stuff in Tesco.
