The Traitors Ireland (UK Pace) - Episodes 11 & 12 (finale)

God I found the 'you said, she said' narrative of the round tables in episodes 10 and 11 equally exhausting, impenetrable and ill informed. Christ knows how any of the others managed to sit there and listen to it.

And Oyin taking on Ben at the final round table was a delight and clearly rattled him.

And Vanessa is on top form as well with Nick. The boys are both flustered. Beautiful.

Well that was almost certainly the most satisfying Faithful victory I've seen in any series.

I'd have been interested to see if Vanessa and Oyin would have chosen to vote out Kelley had Nick and Ben not had to disclose they were Traitors.

I did feel that Siobhan increasingly phoned it in as the series progressed though. She didn't seem as invested as Claudia.

Also, Is it usual in Ireland to refer to always refer to multiple € in the singular rather than plural? Siobhan did it repeatedly, and I think several others did as well.

Could they not have got them some coats for the endgame?

I’ve definitely encountered this before.

Everyone uses the singular here!

Euro and cent are also the official plurals in English agreed by the EU when the currency launched.

That's interesting. I was trying to think if I'd heard non English speakers who use the Euro use the singular or plural, but wasn't sure I'd heard either way. I'm fairly sure most British people don't (?)

Was worried Vanessa was going to do something silly after her reaction post Nick's banishment, didn't realise she was so close to Ben. Oyin a legend :disco:

Super ending

But terrible choices by Ben and Nick in not killing one of Vanessa and Oyin and then banishing Faye

Love love love Oyin and Vanessa

Nick should never have chosen Ben in the first place. And then yes, they absolutely should have killed one of Vanessa or Oyin rather than getting rid of Wilkin.

Oyin a true Traitors icon :disco:

Very satisfying finale, but yes what an open goal the boys threw away! Which only makes it MORE DELICIOUS, naturally.

Has the show done well there though?
It was very popular, but Paudie ended up as the breakout star and is currently wowing audiences as part of a glittering celebrity line-up on the Irish version of Strictly Come Dancing which also includes someone who was a runner-up on The Apprentice and Vogue William’s sister.
