Sombr is AMAZING!! In all fairness he is dressed like Christmas ‘99 but I am feeling it. I would have no clue who he was until my daughter played him constantly on a drunken night at mine in Scotland. The best nights.
 
I know she is widely hated round these parts but Sharon and Ozzy’s love was ASTOUNDING.

I disagree wholeheartedly BUT is Robbie Williams not the most decorated Brit Award winner ever? Maybe I should take it back. 🤔
 
Am I right in saying that Sharon said she took weight loss jabs and then she couldn’t put weight on again and kept losing weight? Looking at Kelly could the same have happened to her or is that not an actual side effect when you stop jabbing?

Objectively I prefer them as an artist, but Lily's 2025 album was a MOMENT whereas there's was another Wolf Alice album
 
Lily didn't even make the top 100 albums of the year

I think Lily was a moment for CELEBRITY GOSSIP rather than MUSIC :(

British song of the year and album of the year didn’t feel aligned with the wider sense if 2025/6 but otherwise I think it was a great night and delivered on most fronts

I mean she has a genuine sellout tour with arena AND theatre dates - it was a cultural moment. Wolf Alice were not. but that Sofa performance was really stunning.
 
Wolf Alice sold out the O2 and other venues only months ago!

Again - I maintain the only difference is Lily Allen provided celebrity moments.

Of course, comparing the two is as ridiculous really as Mark R 3's polls on Custard Creams vs A4 Plain Paper, but I do think we're overblowing Lily's impact and the idea she's been robbed by the Brits. It wasn't exactly a Brat!

Fantastic performance from a fantastic band. A much needed comeback for British groups after the industry desperately trying to make Wet Leg and Last Dinner Party happen the last couple of years !
 
I thought it was the best Brits in as long as I can remember. Stunning performances from Styles, Rosalia, Wolf Alice and Raye, genuinely wonderful cameos from Bjork and Dua Lipa, and the right wins in most categories. It might have helped that I watched on fast forward and cut out all the chatty nonsense.

Also with Raye, Olivia Dean, Sam Fender, Lola Young, Harry Styles, Wolf Alice and a nice tribute to the music of Mark Ronson and Black Sabbath, it was a great night for a very healthy British music scene.
