I know they’re head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to hosting, but I’m not sure I’m ready for another Swedish Eurovision so soon. But that said, this blows everything else out of the water from what’s been selected so far, instantly my #1 :disco:

I need to get this out of #MySystem:

I'm disappointed. I can't believe Sweden chose this over A*Teens. I was rooting for them. Their song truly is iconique.

As for #MySystem: the whole thing sounds like the female answer to Basshunter, just two decades too late. Not to mention her live vocals, which are so grating.

Sweden, you could do better! :sweden:

I'm with the above party poopers too. It shows how starved we are this year if this can win MF and then be touted as a favourite for the whole competition.
 
It's giving Cascada going as a sexy someone-with-a-weakened-immune-system for Halloween.

(I guess if the floodgates are open then yes I suppose, but the performance is what makes it, in studio form it loses a lot)

She can totally sing, it’s just quite a nasal/whiny tone.

Particularly on the ”MY SYSTEEEEEEEM” bits.

Still a very strong effort from Sweden, obviously.
 
It stands out amongst all the entries to me so far, and I can see it doing well with juries too so I would not be against another Sweden win.

This is amazing and I’m a bit gagged by the negative response here! Literally everything I’d want from a Eurovision tits out pop banger.

I also don’t think it sounds dated either. We’ve been riding a Y2K wave in pop culture for the last few years, it only makes sense that that would eventually catch up to eurodance/the Cascada and Basshunter sound of the mid 00s. And it takes that obvious reference point and brings it full throttle into 2026.

I’m still struggling to engage with Eurovision at all this year due to all the shenanigans but this song is gonna make it a lot harder to not care.
 
I think the critiques of it being dated are a bit curious given it's very obviously intentionally going for that Cascada/Basshunter sound.
 
I think with the way music is both consumed and created these days that the idea of something being called dated is quite dated. Calling something dated feels like it belongs in the era of Nuts magazine and internet dial-up. There is no dated, only inspiration and tribute.
