Drag Race UK Vs The World - season three

I always think it’s a shame when they have a guest in to do the mentoring but then get someone else to sit on the judging panel. Nothing against Lucy Punch, who did a great job, but I’d have liked to have seen Jayde seeing how the routines came out on stage!

Naomy’s look was one of the greatest reveals that I think I’ve ever seen in any of the franchises. It was outstanding.
 
Dying at Mariah strutting into the workroom (all the while in a black ensemble) making me think she was Gok Wan.
 
And now she's throwing out Shangela quotes? Pretty sure she was severely problematic before filming started. Gosh.
 
Just catching up here and reached ‘gay brother of Hitler’ snatch game episode.

And to think I thought this format was dead!
 
Loved the makeover challenge. Pleased for Mariah. How did I never really notice her on her seasons. She is great. Guess it just shows how much is in the edit to push the finalists that production want.

In fact, don't think I have never gone so quickly from an initial meh, to loving a cast on any season. Loved the whole top 5.
 
Sad to see Naomy go in the end… a great cast overall, it’s been a good season. They’ve all brought something
 
I can never really enjoy the makeover episode because how they choose to judge it varies so much clearly so they can just boot whoever they choose (#justice4dakotaschiffer), but that episode did feel fair for me.

I think I'm still behind Gawdland to win, although the squawking has started to wear thin.
 
I did kinda hope it might have been a double shantay tonight, purely because I didn’t really want any of them to go - or, at least, I wouldn’t have minded if Fontana went, but I knew that wasn’t likely. But Naomy’s makeover wasn’t really good enough to deserve a double save so it was fair enough that she went. And delighted for Mariah that she won this week. And I agree, it’s been a great cast this season. I’ve enjoyed this a lot more than I was expecting.
 
As always with a makeover episode I would have flipped the whole thing

Mariah bottom 2 with Gawdland and Naomy and Kate in the top for me
 
I'd have went with The Only Kate for some light antagonising rather than Claudia, or, given the runway story, The Only Donatella.

Well, I guess it is :D

But it is significantly better than the first two, and I'd say better than a couple of standard UK seasons as well. Certainly the last one, at least.
 
Even moreso than regular seasons these days, I tend to completely memory hole 'vs the world' seasons pretty much the moment they're over.

I do feel like this has been a strong one though.
 
I think most gingers look better when the harshness of their existence begins to show tbh.

A great makeover episode. Love to see Greg getting his gay flowers- a genuine long time ally and really nice guy as well. By far the biggest star of the Olympians and biggest winner sports wise too but very down to earth with it all.

Loved Anastacia as a judge too. Clearly got the assignment and is a fan of the show.

Was sorry to see Naomy go, my breakout star of the season for one and last week’s runway one of my favourite of all time, but she was the weakest. Genuinely didn’t know how they’d go with the other bottom spot, but I think I’d have gone Gawdland. No way Kate was going home before the finale, though- you’re never going to have a UK vs the World franchise without a UK queen.
 
I guess Mariah's Broken Heels recital was a tad too low energy. She should have chosen Fontana in the hopes that her bag of tricks had been seen too many times at this point.
 
Absolutely the right winner of the lip sync. Outside of the final I'd have said it was more even between the two so I was fine with either. What was KB thinking trying to wing her way through one of the greatest songs of all time? She must have known there and then when the streamers popped off - you're not going to pull focus having Absolutely zero tricks up your sleeve in a lipsync for the crown.
 
I wanted those two as my final two and would have been surprised if we hadn't been given them, and yes, lipsync aside I'd have been happy with either winning. A very pleasing end to a series that was much better than I expected.
 
Wow Sminty really came across terribly! I liked her in her original season.

When they mentioned that a UK queen had won three Vs The World's before now, the writing was really on the wall for Kate.
 
I kinda feel Kate won that final lip-sync but I’m happy for the winner anyway

A pretty good season overall
 
Kate Butch was actually quite good. In a bawdy old school show tune way.
