All the meat Saturday

Despite a (entirely non-interested) Catholic husband, I ate ALL SORTS of meat yesterday and I've got a BIG OLD WHACK OF LAMB out for lunch, which we will be doing with aubergine and tomato sauce, greek salad, hummus and roast potatoes.

We've got MAD KAREN coming over, who was coming over at Christmas before appendix-gate, so I imagine it'll be a fiesta of red wine and fun.

OT: Easter without a family to speak of is an odd place to be. My brothers do things with their own kids and no one else and without the parents to look after, it's a bit discombobulating. I'm not SAD (actually quite the opposite- as I said previously I LOVE EASTER)...just different.

Had a party yesterday and don't feel rough while Ms Ron has spent the entire morning boaking. Not sure how I've got away with that one.

I am very surprised to find out it isn't sunday

See me yesterday. Had a (VERY) Good Friday as a result, albeit with a nice early night and feel perky and ready to go again today.

It's Easter. It's magical for those who believe.

Decided to go to ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA on a WHIM

Hope there's somewhere decent for lunch

Going round to my mum's later, sister and family are up from Dorset and spawn and sos will be going too so there's no way I'm not going.

I was just sat watching ER when a massive garden spider scuttered across the carpet in front of me. There was shameful shrieking and hand flapping before I realised there was no way Mr F could make it downstairs to deal with it so I put my big girl pants on, got a jar over it (trapped some of the legs it was that big) then waited till it settled down before sliding cardboard underneath and returning it to the front garden. My heart was racing so much the Fitbit thought I was exercising! :D

I’ve just cracked a beer and had a line of ket 💪

I'm doing a sponsored walk this month at work in memory of my colleague that we lost earlier this year. I generally average about 3k steps a day so 3 days of walking is making every part of me hurt :zombie:

Some of you can expect a link soon for sponsorship BTW :disco:

And quite lovely it was as well, with three decent record shops.

Plus a lovely Thai restaurant for lunch, and one of the loveliest town centre parks I've seen in this country.

Do you want some of my steps?

Have you been walking three days just for the practise?

Star you must have got pretty far if you’ve been walking from London for three days. Are you still in England?

Between how many of you?

Well officially it's the whole store, so it should be 35 people. But sadly reality is these days that it's so hard to get people to engage in activities, even for charity :( So far there's 7 of us.

Even with only 7 of you, that shouldn't be too taxing. I imagine for you it'll be the time doing it that will be the problem rather than the distance.

Yes it's very much finding the time that's the issue. That's why I need to do extra on weekends to make up for my lack in the weekdays!

Hello my darlings,

I would love to say that I have been involved in wholesome Easter shenanigans but the last 2 days have been pretty much spent with the Irish fella having some fabulous sex. So rather than the traditional Easter lamb I have been noshing on something else.

Don’t worry my loves, I shall be heading out for Easter lunch tomorrow (not lamb, I hate lamb) with the family.
