Yes, but the rumour about her having a stroke was well before that illness as well...

I meant "that she'd been ill" not referring to the emergency.
 
her speech sounds more lispy now but it's because she had veneers some time last year from her beloved dentist in Lisbon!

Between this and Boards of Canada's excruciatingly snobby roll-out, it's enough to make me want "drops" back. Just put out the record,eh?
 
so an extra month to wait vs. the rumoured date. but fine. quite a long rollout time so I guess we'll get 2-3 singles beforehand

Dunno how I do feel about that. I like an old fashioned build up, but yeah, I have to admit three months seems a while!
 
With rollouts, I guess most acts (and especially those that don't stream as well as ABBA) get most their sales as pre-orders and in the first week, so it makes sense to make the most of that period. There's rarely even a proper single released after an album launces these days.

I quite like those posters in an urban street art stencil kind of way. Don't think it would work nearly as well on billboards etc.

It's called I Feel So Free & is currently only being played on radio! Sounds like Future Lovers. It's about feeling unity on the dance floor & less isolated. It's over three minutes, so breaking the current short song trend. Her vocals sound very COADF. Could believe it was a leak from those sessions.

The chorus is basically "I feel so free" sung four times.

Some moaning & groaning in the background. The song is more talking than singing. A perfectly serviceable album track, but I don't think it screams lead single (after a seven year wait).

and we're discussing it in the album thread precisely because we don't know yet if it's a single. we do know she's performing a different song tonight.
