Madonna + Sabrina Carpenter - Bring Your Love

if she wants that best possible chart placement I'd put the video out this weekend but I'm guessing we have to wait

This is so early 90s I love it
 
The vocals in the verses feel very flat but that's how everyone sings these days so this really is the "get Madonna a hit" single.

It reminds me a bit of "Rain On Me". It wants to be a 90s house classic, but doesn't quite land. Madonna has no excuse, she literally created Vogue and Deeper And Deeper.

But that doesn't mean I don't like it. Could have had a bit more OOMPH, but once I manage my expectations better it might grow on me. I ended up really liking Rain On Me.

Not that individually they do much any more, but getting #1 on NMF and getting playlisted at Radio 1 could actually be symbolic for this song actually breaking through. Something might be UNDERFOOT.
 
I suspect it will debut around 10 global Spotify and drop steeply from there but hope that is a conservative guess!

Sabrina can do no wrong at radio right now so that might make the difference. Hopefully it can be Madonna’s first pop radio top ten since 4 Minutes.
 
Apart from Madame X deciding to mumble like she did on God Control this is a bop that should be #1 worldwide.
 
I hope it's a hit for M. It should be on the dance charts at the very least in the US.
 
I am sure it will grow but on first listen I'm finding the mumbling/vocals generally a little hard to get past. That chorus line is as much of a garble as the Coachella performance.

To be fair Sabrina doesn't sound particularly wonderful either.

2 of the writers are from the Inner City sample though, so 3 for the actual song doesn't feel too bad in this day and age.

Anyway, the song slaps after a few listens and sounds great in the sun this morning. Officially her best lead single since the original Confessions (admittedly not a high bar to cross), and my interest for the album is piqued based on the 2 tracks released.
 
Oh I love this. The chorus is so catchy, I found myself singing along after two listens.

Might she actually get a hit with this?!

I'm glad of its existence to help grant Madge a shart hit, but I don't particularly need to listen to it again. Her vocals are terrible, and as someone already alluded it's very fun-for-drag-race.

4/10 (is that still a 10/10 on a Moopy scale)?
 
I think a lot of initially-disappointed people will come around to this. It’ll get radio play and there’ll be a video and it’ll be all over socials.
 
But there’s just not enough meat on its bones. It’s cute and catchy, but it just never really goes fully OFF. For me, it really needed something unexpected to happen in the middle eight or finale. I’d even have accepted a KEY CHANGE. Just something!

But it’s perfectly fine(aside from Madge’s grim AI vocals).

I would dare suggest it'll be the opposite, and it will initially over-benefit from the gays screaming "OMG Madonna SHARTING SLAY", and then when track #3 is leaked we'll very quickly move on

But Sabrina ends the song with "I got something I wanna talk about" but is she going to be in the next song too? I think that's unlikely. So when are we going to find out if ever?🤔
