Now I'm randomly wondering if the clasped hands are of Enya or her sister, or both. The sisters look kind of tall, but are probably no more than 5'4, even with heels.

I think she felt almost guilty/regretful as well, even as far back as when she was touring with Clannad. Not Enya's fault, but she probably blames herself for some of the hard times her family faced.

Moya was far from perfect, but she was still Eithne’s big sister, there for her in those formative years when they were miles away from home (in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland). Of course Enya had to leave that setting, but people still interpret that decision as cutting off her family. They may have not been super close, but Eithne has always found it important to go home to Donegal, to be with family and friends she grew up with, living or not.
