I really must say, one of my favourite moments in this - a performance CHOCK full of them - is the sheer visible DERANGED MANIA she channels when she states that she's about to lose her mind :disco:

It ALMOST tops the synchronised choreography when the instrumental bit that sounds like a pissed off peacock starts up!

On social media, it is being discussed that this situation is due to Bulgaria having won the semi-final.
 


The audience POV is fun! I love how much effort they went into with the staging, it's the easily the best this year and has been pulled off so well. They could have so feasibly turned up with a few chairs and a dance routine but they went truly all out. I hope this does REALLY well
 
Thanks for that! You could tell something more was going on than just a set but the problem with this type of thing is that I don't think all the work that goes into it necessarily comes across on camera without seeing a BTS. Also see Dizzy.

Spinning the set was impressive there as it didn’t seem to be pivoting on a fixed point. Love this shit.
 
This has pretty much single handedly rekindled my excitement for the final :disco: anything less than top 5 would be a hideous insult and increasingly gaslighting myself into thinking it could win!

This really would make a solid winner for the ages. She's SO memorable and distinct as a performer and personality, even if some of it is pilfered from early Nicki Minaj somewhat.

I also kind of hope she doesn't win for her own sake. Imagine having to spend the rest of your life performing this nonsense with a SKUNK WIG and CHAIR ON YOUR HEAD. It would be enough to drive you to the drink.

I heard and saw this for the first time tonight. Completely skipped the 2nd semi. This was the FIRST and ONLY time I genuinely got excited about a performance this year. It was what Greece thought it was. I thought the juries might tank it but when the opposite happened I really thought it could do it. Amazing winner.
 
Astonishing, perfect, dreamy, fairytale winner that almost feels genuinely UNREAL for all the ways it feels like everything I could have never believed might actually happen coming true even more than I ever dared to dream, in the highest stakes way, during such a TORRID SEASON!!! I don't even know if I can process it yet.
