Are there any rumours as to what the "iconic covers" are that Jane is teasing?

I kind of expect a Madonna medley of sorts, but would love her to do Hung Up.
 
I saw Sugababes and Steps at Mighty Hoopla and got very very high. I hope anybody going has a lovely lovely time.
 
Very excited! Will be my 8th year, not THAT much on the line up I’m crazy for but it never stops it being a good time.

caught the end of their set (pure shores)

Wow that Lily Allen album is a BORE if you don’t already know it back to front. Not festival headliner material.
 
Actually loved the troll move of Lily doing her theatre show to a festival crowd. The early wave of departures as people realised the karaoke singalong was all they were getting of the hits! The people bouncing up and down on their mates' shoulders as Lily sings a heartfelt number about failing to model healthy relationships for her children! Mother!
 
Lily Allen was great but shite for Hoopla, totally killed the day.

Delta was absolutely fabulous, only did two numbers but just radiates joy.

Todrick really put on a show, enjoyed his set a lot
 
I did wonder how do that album at a Hoopla gig would go - I've seen Lily at a small venue some years back and she can really bring it, but for Hoopla needs to be hits forward I would think.

My mate was saying this about the headliners at Big Weekend that they [Olivia Dean] weren’t “festival closers”. I get his point but unfortunately I think these days you’re just booking the biggest name you can to flog tickets regardless of who’s suitable for a festival and who should be closing a day out etc.

I’ve said this before on here but I think acts really need let their egos go a bit at festivals and realise the attendees aren’t just their for them and more of a greatest hits would surely provide more goodwill towards the artist than them basically doing a shortened set of their latest ALBAM tour connecting with 10% of the crowd.
 
The Appletons could start a Rent-A-Bandmember service.

Oh absolutely - I saw Bjork at was it Points East - in Victoria Park anyway, some years ago, and she was way too art for that stage of the day when every one was off their nuts and just wanting to party - she did Isobel and Human Behaviour - and 10 tracks off of Utopia which rather got lost. It's a festival, it's a party.
 
Belinda Carlisle, Kelly Osbourne and Ian McKellen brought out by Scissor Sisters. Great headliners.

Had to bail on Alexandra in the middle of Bad Boys to make it sadly.
