Started with The Borderline (Minnie Driver). Location-wise it's making me wonder if I ever finished Banshee (2013-16). Doesn't seem like it got a 2nd season though.
 
Oh I loved Banshee. I watched the first episode of The Borderline but wasn't really feeling it.

Even with Minnie Driver calling the waitress a cow? I think without that I may have bailed too right enough.

Stephen Amell is also quite nice to look at. His 100 page lpsg.com thread certainly convince me anyway.

Uh oh. Final 3 episodes on my dodgy firestick are in French and I am unable to let the funky music do the talking (talking now, oh).
 
3 episodes in to Maximum Pleasure Guranteed on TV - the first episode is a bit iffy but got really good after that.
 
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is on my list to watch, I've heard good things. I noticed it has been way down their top 10 list since it was released though so think it may not be doing so well, even by Apple standards.

I finished Margo's Got Money Troubles, which I really liked.
 
Reykjavik Fusion

Icelandic crime drama starring Olafur Darri Olaffson (of course 🙄) as a recently released prisoner setting up his new restaurant with backing from the underworld.
 
I wasn’t sure off Anne in S1 like she just seemed so weird compared to the others (and her husband!) but she really fitted here
 
Still enjoying Two Weeks in August, the big party and aftermath episodes were quite something.

Also watching Ponies on Sky which is moderately entertaining, though Haley Lu Richardson is a lot of fun.

I need to get to The Four Seasons and Cape Fear but have too many things on the go to finish off for now. I'm assuming the telly lull during the World Cup will help me catch up.
 
Spent 9 hours on a farm so came home and watched Clarksons Farm 5

I finished this the other week and really liked it. Leila Farzad was my MVP and I loved the gays.

8 x 45 minute eps is so much more agreeable than the more standard 6 x 60
 
Two Weeks In August was so much fun. Jessica Raine really got to display the full range of her acting chops.

And yes Leila Farzad is absolutely fabulous.
 
Have I missed any decent DRAMAS over the past month or so? I watched a bit of The Cage and it wasn’t the one but haven’t seen much else? I know the Summer months are usually pretty crap for decent tv, but thought I would check in to see? @Halli @FetchFugly ?

It does seem like this is a potential replacement. They are doing a film with the main cast, which feels like it could be a wrap up, though this from last year mentions a 16th series still being on the cards:

7 episodes really isn't quite enough to make you care about their journeys and who gets cut. You'd think onto the 3rd Netflix series they would have expanded them a bit to match the 10 they were getting on the other network. I'm watching episode 5 of 7. Those two women bringing in a happy and excited girl only to then plant seeds of doubt into her head about the other girls not liking her and then having her run out crying: all that was missing was them asking "was it something we said?" Truly outrageous.
