Post an AI picture of Enya. (2 Viewers)

Looking at the camera (glad it got the resemblance right)

Not my generated images but interesting. I'm seeing more resemblance to Laura Branigan somehow. ๐Ÿฉต
That moment of scenery in dull weather and her wearing a neutral top
โ™ก

I often think of this song as an Only Time predecessor (but Enya's is more optimistic despite the 'let go of relationships if they aren't working' sentiment)

Apparently said mum once had to rescue Florence Welch from a sex swing at Enyaโ€™s castle.
GPT got worried when I asked ๐Ÿ˜…

but did generate an innocent swing scene, circa 2008. ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿฐ

Again not mine but someone did Enya as WonderWoman :D
Enya as Wonder Woman someone's AI generation.gif

I find it annoying that most new YouTube videos seem to be AI, both thumbnails and music content, but this fascinated me:

^Kind of interesting and footage was real (Only Time, So I Could Find My Way)

Other nice-ish thumbnails

^A similar but more realistic one I saw earlier, trying to find again

2nd based on Anywhere Is but I thought that was a James Blunt song haha (carry you home)

Nice scenery anyway ๐Ÿ–ผ

Wait this is the one ๐Ÿฉต (looks realistic, and sounds alike :disco: :enya:)
3:44 is quite interesting musically

These (same channel) sound like Enya too, and quite pretty tunes:

(Referring to the Cliff Richard song, how Enya won a music award there and Cliff presented it, and her almost literally fulfilling the lyric. ๐Ÿ˜Š)

AI cover younger En, not perfect haha but cute

2018 clip in Irish (l-r Enya's sisters Deirdre, Brรญdรญn and Olive of course!) It seems she's mostly talking about those old Eurovision songs; the latter two singing Cliff  and I've yet to discover that the groovy other song that they sang towards the end. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŽถโœจ

Quite sure this was by Roma's sister Michรจle (2000 interview in the castle) ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Circa 2006 or late 2000s; seemed to do the same pose as her niece haha

I see why but didn't mean it like that, just for a different pose without the glass, and spotless rock. โ˜บ๏ธ

By night ๐Ÿคฉ

Wow โ™ก

And this was supposed to be early 2000s her presenting it

These first two were from February on Nightcafรฉ (and seemingly set in autumn ๐Ÿ)

โ™ก

That burnt orange lipstick is quite nice for En ๐Ÿงก ๐Ÿ’„

This evolved with a different model; the smoothness is sort of nice but she's giving EastEnders character a little bit :D
โ™ก

Compared to Gemini or ChatGPT the resemblance is hardly there ๐Ÿ˜… but nice enough results.

For some reason I imagine En as of Shepherd Moons (early 90s) sitting in/besides a bathtub (either one in the penthouse) and contemplating. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

๐Ÿ˜Œ :peace: ๐Ÿ’Ÿ

With a more painting-like art style, interesting manicures ๐Ÿ’…and Roma's writing.

Embracing a ghostly feminine figure (Orinoco Flow look input)

And one I made today; not intentionally more like Shepherd Moons but similar colours ๐Ÿ’™
โ™ก

(It didn't let it look exactly like the film poster of Ghost though haha)

That one came from this colourisation ๐Ÿฉต
โ™ก

Rather than a lock of hair I think it's a large earring, if not the overlay
โ™ก

And for this,
โ™ก
I couldn't choose, but I think the 2nd looks more natural
โ™ก

๐Ÿ’— ๐ŸŒ  ๐ŸŽถ

I might've shared this before
โ™ก

(and this, though I don't think she looks like Enya that much, inspired the outfit: )
Yawning ๐Ÿฅฑ๐Ÿ˜ด:sleepy:
โ™ก

and that inspired this (just asked for 4 by 3 of random expressions)
โ™ก

๐Ÿค— :sleepy:

Then I asked to make it with her in this outfit (colourised)
โ™ก

plus more playful and natural for a 24-year-old in 1985:
๐Ÿ’Ÿ

(next time I'll get it to be more music related ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŽถ)

From late October; I tried to make it like "The Story of Tracy Beaker" and just about got Nick Sharratt's illustration style with AI. ๐Ÿช„

Enya (Eithne) 1981 โ™ก

โ™ก

Shaney is Roma (as in Roma Shane; middle name) and Dom is Nicky (Nicholas Dominick)
I'm Trisha Brennan. I'm 20 years old, and I've got a plan.

Well... I've got most of a plan.

It's 1981, and I grew up with three older siblings who thought they knew everything. Which was annoying, because they usually did. Every time I said I wanted to make music, they'd tell me to get a proper job, be realistic, think sensible.

So I did the sensible thing.

I left.

Now I live with Shaney and Dom, their three-year-old daughter, and a second-hand synthesiser that's seen better days.

But that's not the point.

The point is, I know what I want.

I want to write music. I want people to hear it. I want my name on posters and album covers and festival stages.

Easy, right?

Okay... maybe not.

The thing is, I work best on my own.

Just me, my synthesiser, and a room where nobody's telling me what I should be doing with my life.

That's why I sold my saxophone to help get the loan for a studio in the back garden.

It wasn't exactly an easy decision.

I loved that saxophone.

But a proper studio?

That felt like the future.

And anyway, now I've got somewhere to disappear to whenever inspiration strikes.

Usually at two in the morning.

Luckily, I've got Shaney.

Shaney says every great artist has to struggle before they succeed. Which is easy for her to say because she and Dom seem to have everything organised before the rest of us have even finished breakfast.

Still, she's brilliant.

And then there's Dom.

Dom thinks every problem can be solved with a cup of tea and a spreadsheet.

He's wrong.

Mostly.

But somehow he always manages to help anyway.

So that's us.

Me, chasing the dream.

Shaney, keeping me inspired.

Dom, keeping me from accidentally setting my life on fire.

And their daughter, making sure none of us take ourselves too seriously.

Will I become a famous musician?

Will my siblings finally admit I was right?

Will I ever finish a recording without changing my mind halfway through?

This is my story.

The story of Trisha Brennan.
:enya:

Trisha Brennan Returns...
๐Ÿ’–
โ™ก (haha the visual thing) This may contain: a woman in an orange jacket holding a tennis racquet and wearing white pants
โ™ก

(AI after this bit)
A 2011-style follow-up, with the same direct-to-camera Tracy Beaker energy but older, wiser, and still unmistakably Trisha:

I'm Trisha Brennan.

And yes, before you ask, I'm still doing things my own way.

Some people spend their lives trying to figure out who they are.

I spent mine trying to convince everybody else I already knew.

Turns out, I was right.

Mostly.

When I was twenty, I left home with a synthesiser, a head full of ideas and absolutely no clue what I was doing.

Now it's 2011.

I'm fifty years old.

I've made records.

I've travelled the world.

I've met famous people.

I've met ridiculous people.

Sometimes they were the same people.

And somehow, despite every prediction made by my brothers and sisters, I survived.

Speaking of which...

Having four brothers and four sisters isn't always easy.

Trust me.

There are still family arguments that started sometime around 1969.

But these days, there are nieces and nephews everywhere.

Birthdays, school plays, graduations, family parties...

Half the time I can't remember who's related to who.

I just know I love them all.

As for husbands?

Never had one.

Children?

Never had those either.

Never really wanted them.

I always liked having the freedom to disappear for six months with a keyboard and a notebook if inspiration struck.

And it usually did.

The funny thing is, people always acted like being on your own was something sad.

But I was never on my own.

I had friends.

I had family.

I had music.

And honestly?

That was more than enough.

These days I'm taking a bit of time away from recording.

Not forever.

Just long enough to remember why I loved it in the first place.

Because every now and then I'll hear a melody in my head.

Or find an old notebook.

Or sit down at a piano for five minutes...

And suddenly it's 1981 all over again.

That feeling never really leaves you.

So who knows?

Maybe there's another album waiting to be made.

Maybe there are still a few songs left to write.

After all...

I've spent fifty years proving people wrong.

No point stopping now.

I'm Trisha Brennan.

And this is still my story.

Amazing story of Trisha Brennan โ˜บ๏ธโœจ๏ธ

Some interesting ones I found of her 3D animated

I quite like the idea of her in Wild Child (or any time in the early 2000s) being animated (with today's animation standard) ๐Ÿ˜Š
1781893584579.png
(clip here)

The tracksuit idea is inspired by a real account:
How about a full tracksuit? :D
Quote from this 2011 article (edit: can also read here)

I imagined a woman saying this but AI went with some Irishman:
Interesting

There seem to be two possibilities with the Dalkey cafรฉ that existed in 2011
โ™ก

Sodium lampposts era ๐Ÿงก (though I think she'd be wearing a coat, beret and scarf in the evening)
โ™ก

Meanwhile I generated her and Roma at the chippy in 1985 :D
โ™ก

(At a chippy/fish and chip shop usually it's takeaway; I sort of imagined the polystyrene boxes ๐ŸŸ them taking orders, Enya gazing at an Italian lady at the counter whilst Roma takes the order, and them walking back in the evening/early morning, hanging around in the sitting room till it gets light outside. ๐Ÿก )
โ™ก

โ™ก

(It generated two versions:-)
โ™ก

(Based on a real takeaway place, walking distance from their old house in Artane, Dublin. Living room is similar too ๐Ÿ˜Š)

How do you feel about the rumors that Enya and Roma shared something deeper than just a friendship and professional partnership?๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜

How do you feel about the rumors that Enya and Roma shared something deeper than just a friendship and professional partnership?๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜
I feel completely fine about it, and happy for Enya and Roma. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’ž
Though if they were to publicly (in a TV interview for example) confirm it and talk a bit about it, I would also feel very shy on their behalf ๐Ÿ™ˆโ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’—

Meant for yesterday (24th June) but finally have some picture of Enya and both her goddaughters (and cats) ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿฑ ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›
Persia (Roma's younger daughter), Enya (seemingly in 1997/inspired by) and her niece Matilda, with tabby cats

I wanted to do one for A Day Without Rain but got this ๐Ÿ˜… (only wanted succulent plants and drought haha)

It did generate these slightly cheeky cat ones though:
Can't say the face looks like her, but these were based on Dark Sky Island where Enya's lying down in the dark blue dress
