Left the house just after 7am to go to the Co-op for some picky bits for lunch. Actually pleasant out. Loads of people walking their dogs while they can.

By the time I got home it was beginning to get uncomfortable though. At 8am. And tomorrow is meant to be WORSE?
 
Two degrees hotter here at least forecast for tomorrow.
 
Thankfully it's ROLLED BACK from the 40 degrees it was saying for tomorrow on Monday night to an only slightly more sensible 35

Annoyingly Friday is going to be almost as hot now and I've got to walk over to the other side of town to pick up a car as there's no way I'm driving to SUGAR LOAF without air conditioning

Apparently OLD MAN MR S will come and pick me up but I'm still unconvinced that he won't have EXPIRED BY THEN
 
We're forecast 27° for Friday. I'd normally moan that even that's too hot :D
 
Might have to head down to the coast on Friday as south Devon is forecast to be 21°. The thought of that almost makes me want to cry.
 
Although the real feel is 39 here today.

It wasn't like this when I was young. I pointed out to the kids yesterday, this is probably the hottest it's ever been in British classrooms to date. Thank God the exams are over.
 
Coping heat wise fine by using the med method of only opening windows on the non sunny side but the humidity was a right slag yesterday. Had 3 showers and multiple face washes.
 
I had to explain terrestrial TV to my teenage child last night. He had no idea about it. :D
 
On a bus to Dublin wearing a JACKET because it's baltic due to the air con. We're seeing Robyn on her cursed tour tonight.
 
Just had 3 beers in the sun and I might now enjoy a siesta, give me spanish temps and you’ll get spanish behaviour

I had two fans on and just a sheet last night and it was still like I was wrapped in a carpet next to a bonfire.
 
Real feel 38 here. I just lay outside for about 15 mins in shorts. I sweat like it was a steam room. Wild.
 
I've bought this TABARD type thing made out of a fabric very similar to fake chamois, which you soak in water and then snake the excess out of and put it on, and it's a boon. I'm sure it's hugely sexually alluring as well.
 
Just done the school pick up. Had to wheel a bike half the way because silly me promised Mini Tisch and ice cream.

this truly is the hottest I've EVER BEEN. every time I pass a mirror I seem to have aged about FIVE YEARS
 
I genuinely think I'll be someone who dies in a heatwave.
 
Its hot today but was way more humid yesterday round these parts. I’ve not found it too oppressive today in all.
 
Ive just been to the allotment and everything is thriving, i have used about 100 litres of water this week though
