Why do these look AI? :D

SayHey.

There's also an equally odd one of Kylie and Quentin which I posted in the Kylie forum but that's from the Telegraph website so apparently is legit.

my first thought about the Kylie and QT pic was that it's AI :eyes: these ones of M and Kylie definitely are.

SayHey is obviously full of BOOMER SLOP so maybe be selective before posting here

I think she is right that people need to dance - I’m a horrible horrible dancer, but I still get it - I interpret it maybe as dance or just be in a space with someone familiar but doing new things - the safety thing I guess -the stuff you’ve established is for you. Blah blah anyway - yup - all good

it was awkward as shit but M is never gonna go for it in this kind of skit.

the brief clip of Fragile sounded gorgeous!!

Madonna is just so much more relaxed and warm this era - sure she can't help herself with the odd caustic quip, but it's an endearing balance.

Really could have watched much more of this.

The Christopher ballad clip sounded really good - I may be tempted to skip straight to it come release day.

It's rare I enjoy a Madonna interview. She just isn’t that kind of star.

I think this was really good actually. Well balanced: a bit of the backstory; some discussion of the crafting of the album; the lighthearted moment with Kylie; and then some stuff about her family.

It’s as good PR as one can hope for with Madonna. She’s got a good team behind her this time around.

She came across as so uptight and miserable. She really changed massively over the years. I loved her cheekiness years ago.

Also…I can’t help but be bemused by the presence of Stuart Price in the interview. That would be unthinkable years ago. He was fine, but I don’t really get why he was there. What artist drags their producer to their interview? Just find it odd and unnecessary.

I don't think the casual viewer will really care about Stuart...he was there to talk about the recording process but I agree that it went on longer than was necessary.

Speaking as someone who used to find Madonna's general attitude somewhat affronting - I think the recent Kylie doc has made me realise just how different they are as personalities. Madonna has the weight of being a forebearer and archetype of the female popstar on her shoulders and as such is always expected to have something interesting and insightful to say. She has also had a somewhat fractured family life. Kylie on the otherhand lacks that overall burden and her well adjusted family has kept her grounded in the best possible way. Could that be why Madonna comes across as unrelaxed to you...particularly in contrast to someone like Kylie who basically radiates joy? I'm prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt - she seems a lot wiser now and chooses her words carefully as you would expect of an older stateswoman.

I will say this though - if it turns out that Kylie hasn't collaborated on anything, that entire segment will seem incredibly pointless in retrospect.
