Tracy Austin is actually a great commentator though. probably has better tennis knowledge (all the technical aspects of the game etc) than anyone else on comms. she's a proper NERD of the sport.
 
She's not the best but yes I really like Tracey Austin.

Simon Reed gets on my goat sometimes. Trivia fans: he is the younger brother of the late Oliver Reed.

I really miss David Mercer. He was probably my favourite commentator of ALL time.

I really like Tracy too. Her playing days were before my time but she’s one of the biggest what ifs in tennis. 2 slams by 18, managed to knock Chris and Martina off the number one slot as a 17 year old - they really resented her at the time. She’d have really ate into some of their numbers had her body allowed.

I also enjoy Jo Durie as a commentator. She keeps it pretty real.

Medvedev (who if you weren't aware used to be Number 1 in the world) goes out in straight sets to Struff.

I’m watching the Paul match, but it’s been a bit slow and deflated since he started losing
 
pretty Sabs wins this but maybe takes the scenic route.

I’ve been watching the second set and she hasn’t been playing well. Unforced errors and letting Liu stay in the game. But yeah I don’t expect her to lose
 
I’m about to watch Babs serve for her match a third time, squandering match points left, right and centre.
 
Gauff rarely plays a tight dominant set I find. or it feels like that anyway. she can go around the houses.

Sabalenka made easy work of Penko in the end. underwhelming match.
 
This match is GREAT now. Gauff playing some great tennis but Liu matching her when it matters - had Liu not been struggling with her forehand she might have won this match by now
 
Coco's touch and feel at the net are sublime. even playing a lob from the baseline. LOVELY HANDS
 
I actually don't think Coco is best suited to the grass. Her movement is awkward!

their match at the French was pretty dominant from Sabs but Osaka has been looking so good on grass, I think she'll make it more competitive. hopefully three sets.
 
Svajda has a nice, calm game but prob needs to add something to breakthrough more. He was a young talent for sure and I find something cute about him.
